Very disappointed in this item. It arrived and upon first use didn't work properly. It was taken to a local repair technician who couldn't get the parts needed to complete the repairs. After communicating directly with the company the replacement parts were sent to me and taken to the repair technician but even after installing the replacement parts, the unit doesn't function properly. There is constant feedback as though the mic is keyed constantly and transmission isn't possible. When I can get to the repair shop to pick it up, I am returning it to the manufacturer.

Peaked and tuned straight from the box. No complaints from either end.Using simple 4' Road Pro fiber antenna. Any better antenna would do even better

It stopped working after a few months. When I key it up the power needle kicks over to the right like it's supposed to. But I can't hear anything, not even static. It's dead. I've checked everything that I can think of, like the control knob settings, power and antenna connections. Nothing works. Help

I could have bought something cheaper but it had the features that were important to me. Knowing Galaxies reputation gave me the confidence to spend a little more than I might have otherwise. I'm using it as a base station and it works fine.

Out of the box it’s not that impressive it only reaches out about a half mile had mine turned up above 100 watch by CB shop boy this radio rocks and rolls they don’t have to add nothing to it to turn it up Best cb i ever owened
