Depends on you and how much concentrate to the water added it hooks to a water hose and I have a .77 was more than enough however you need to apply the spray in a sweeping motion IF you apply it heavily it depends on how you are applying it.

You can, but is not recommended directly after overseeding, because the fertilizer will cause the existing grass to grow faster than the seedlings, and the new seedlings will get crowded out.
