Works very well
My 300 black out needed a little something to spread some of the recoil.

Pad thickness is NOT 1 inch
This product description is misleading, the "1 inch" is the overall O.D. NOT the thickness of the actual pad part. This pad, in addition to being very thin, (less than 1/2 inch), is also very ridged offering little or no recoil reduction. Also, this pad does not fit all AR style adjustable stocks. I gave this 2 stars because I was able to return the pad for a partial refund, (had to pay over $3 for return shipping).
