Polisher Went Up In Smoke
I used the polisher with 50 and 100 grit discs, enough water to maintain a slurry. Went quite well.At this point, I have about 5 hours of use on the polisher.Had a slip and fall accident putting off all work for about six months.Gettig back to work, got the polisher out today and hooked up to finish my last counter top, finally. The polisher started very slow then gray smoke poured out of the front with burning electric smell. The breaker never kicked.I really would have liked it to be a reliable tool.

Pad's wear quickly!
While the polisher works great, I was very disappointing in how quickly the pads wear out. If you are polishing concrete (I have a large outdoor concrete bar), you will find the 50 and 100 grit pads don't last and quickly wear down. If you are polishing concrete, you will NOT need the 3000 grit or other higher grit polishing pads (200 is great) for a fine finish. The polisher itself is great as the water adjustment and variable polish speeds are valuable, however I cannot recommend the kit due to pad wear. You are better off ordering the pads individually or utilizing a grinder for concrete polish.

Heavy duty tool
This is the real deal. Heavy duty, the water connections don’t leak, speed adjustment is excellent. Obviously made for people who make a living with their tools.

Good for someone with just a few small projects
This polisher was able to get the job done with ease, but the quality was a little on the low side. To describe the quality issue better, look at the pictures above. The tool uses a ductape band on it. I’m assuming that it is the help water proof. It also has labeling with poor English. Finally the hook and loop backer is held on with a low quality adhesive. Once I was up to the higher grit number pads in the sequence the backer began to peel off. So, my final conclusion is that it will work fine for smaller jobs, but I would probably not depend on it for long term use.

So far, good.
I’ve got twenty hours on mine and seems to be holding up just fine, so I’m happy with this purchase. And if you need to grind concrete, well, you gotta have one.

still working beautifully. The included pads are good quality and will ...
Did 24 linear ft. of cast in place concrete countertop with this polisher, no hang ups, no shocks, no problems. Currently using it again for outdoor kitchen, still working beautifully. The included pads are good quality and will be able to do both jobs without wearing out. I highly recommend this polisher

Has potential -- if you get a good one
The machine itself worked fantastic, for the very small job I needed it for--polishing the edges of a quartz countertop for an undermount sink cut out. My experience was very limited with this machine, but the pads were great. My biggest gripe and the reason I sent this back was a faulty, leaking water shut off valve. Because of how close the valve is mounted underneath the machine, and the way it's designed with its bracket, it's not a simple matter of tightening the connection, or undoing it and adding thread sealant, etc.Ideally, one would ditch the factory installed valve altogether and just add something further down the line, like a simple John guest ball valve fitting. Because of how close the leak was to the motor housing, and how bad it was leaking, I didn't even want to take the chance of damaging the motor with further use, should any water happen to find its way in. It's a dissapointment because I liked the machine, and perhaps it was an isolated incident with just this one that I received. With that being said, I would try to get one again, with the hopes of receiving one that did not leak out of the box.

Marble fireplace
Great hand polisher with diamond disks. I used it to resurface our fireplace with marble. Everything worked great in removing all uneven edges, rounding corners, and bringing back a high luster shine.
