I got sick of breaking chairs and benches at social gatherings - quite embarrassing. I purchased this chair and everyone loved it, especially me. Folds up easy, sturdy as heck, wide enough so that I can even turn sideways and lean back a bit. I love the space and the sturdiness. The main support beams ARE the arm rests (they're one solid piece of metal), meaning I can confidently put all my weight on the arm rests as I push myself up to get out of the chair. To any obese people out there, I highly recommend you buy this so that you can feel more comfortable and more capable of joining people at family events, etc.

I am a big guy. 6'3 and weigh about 430 pounds and this chair is a great size and feels nice to sit in. I would definitely buy this again.

Good Sturdy chair. It's large and bulky by necessity, but it's not too heavy to drag around. Will take this camping in May. I'm 5'4" and 350lbs. This chair has enough room so my hips and thighs are not pressing against the arm rails. There's plenty of room to spare in fact. The wide seat and 500lb capacity is the main reason I chose this particular chair. The only trouble is, it is also quite deep - which would not be a problem for a taller person. It's so deep that if I want back support I' LL need to lean back quite a bit. If I want to sit up straight and have back support, I'll need a pillow or something wedged behind me. Again, I'm short. Not a problem if you are taller. The side table has plenty of room and looks pretty sturdy too. I expect this will hold up well. Not in danger of this one crumpling under me. This appears to be very good quality.

Many can relate to this... its really hard to find a comfortable and sturdy chair if u have wide hips.... this chair is LIFEE!! All prayers answered. I have recomended to it everyone i know!! It comfortable.... sturdy.... and the seat is wide enough for wide hips. I have absolutely nothing negative to say! Best chair ever. Worth every penny

This is exactly what I was hoping for. I am 6 foot 5, and weight 375 pounds. I fit in this chair with two inches to spare on each side!! It is very strong, sturdy build. It is heavy, but I would rather that then wimpy!! For less than $100 extremely happy with this chair!!

So far so good. My husband is 6'4" 330lbs and he feels safe sitting in it unlike most chairs. We got patio chairs from another company rated for 350lbs and he not only broke one of the slats but also it tipped him so far back he thought he was going to fall.

My son loves it. It's very sturdy and spacious. He is a very large man so he doesn't fit comfortably into many. He is actually very pleased with this purchase. I was hesitant to buy because of the lack of reviews. Don't be afraid to purchase it. I'm going to buy more rather than have the ones that collapse after a few ususes. I can't stress enough how sturdy these are
