My kids love this timer. I cannot comment on durability since we have been very careful not to drop it. It’s small, maybe 5”, but the colors are vibrant and it was decent value. I got it as a fun way to time math work drill sheets and the kids get distracted watching the timer!

This little timer is a bit of nostalgia fir me. It's going on my work desk to help me relax when I'm stressed. Believe it or not, the pictures above are exactly what it looks like. It's not a random color thing. Mine is red with blue liquid and a yellow wheel too. As for timing, and I did time it on video, there's a very slight difference. The wheel sides it takes about a minute and fifty seconds to empty. On the ramp side it was exactly two minutes. If you want this as a toothbrush timer or something this is great, just time the one you get to be sure. As a relaxing and hypnotic little toy, I forsee many hours spent watching tiny bubbles go by.

I used to have a few of these growing up as a kid different styles too and this thing is awesome it brings those memories back and just sitting there messing with them the quality is great I haven't broke mine even though I have dropped it a few times. My niece loves shaking it up and even tossing it and so far no cracks or leaks.

Pros: Nice build and looks cool. I remember us having this same design when I was a little kid, so theres some nostalgia in it for me. Cons: a bit small which makes timer short and a little pricey for what it is. **** a little floating boat or some other nice ornamental feature inside would have made it 5 stars ****

My dad had one of these when I was kid and I thought it was so cool. Still think it’s cool. I really enjoy watching the drops so their thing. And it’s nice to keep on your desk. Can’t really comment much on durability and sturdiness, I haven’t dropped it or hit it against anything. Holding it, it kinda feels like it’s price value in terms of durability. Just don’t be careless and this will be just fine. At $8, I think it’s worth the buy.

The item itself is fantastic in the whole idea of it. Students can self regulate easily with the bubbles and overall look of the product. My only concern is that if you work with students who can get aggressive with products or toys, this can get easily destroyed.

This summer we're moving across country and I'll be driving all that way with a hyper 4 year old, I tested it out on him today when it arrived and it immediately slowed him down and caught his attention. While there are a number of these water/bubble things out there, I chose this one because it is identical to the one my grandma had in her car 30 years ago when I was the same age. I lost her recently and it makes me very happy to be able to have one of these myself to keep in the car. It worked 30 years ago to keep a kid quiet, and it works the same today.
