Q: What does the tag inside the cap say it is made?

Says, "Cut, sewed and assembled in the USA".

Q: Confused... some people say it's huge "for a watermelon head" and other say too small "yarmulke"? I really want one but I'm not sure which I'll get.

It is suited for men with larger heads. I have a large hat size and the velcro straps almost completely overlap. It is equivalent to other one size fits all maybe running more on the large size. hope this helps

The front patch isn't a patch at all, it is a square of loop Velcro on which different patches can be placed. It is fixed to the hat, so it cannot be removed.
