This is a cream with a menthol-type odor that is quickly absorbed to get to the area needing attention. For me, I have an index finger that I damaged and I have been bothered by a stabbing pain in the joint for several months . I have used this product for about three weeks and I can honestly say that the pain has been dramatically reduced since I started using it. It is also economical -- a small pea-sized amount worked into the joint brings relief.

I ordered this for my father who was having trouble with right thumb joint pain. We would wake up and have a hard time bending his thumb so things like putting on his socks was a little hard. He read about Apeaz in our local paper and when he got home asked me to see about ordering. Thankfully Amazon had it available (3rd party seller) and I ordered it that evening. Well last word is, he likes it a lot! When he wakes up now, first thing he does is rubs a dab onto his thumbs (all fingers really) and after two to three minutes, he's ready to go, no pain, no stiffness. He is completely satisfied; even tells coffee mates (all over the age of 70). My dad is 75 and still works. He is a Milwright so he uses a lot of hand-tools and welding equipment. Apeaz ULTRA has helped immensely. He's not too crazy about the smell (I like it) hence the 4 stars but he would give 4.5 stars if possible!

By far this is the best product I’ve purchased for the relief of arthritis pain. The product is creamy and not greasy and is absorbed into the skin quickly. I’ve recommended this product to a number of arthritis sufferers that I know.

Not much relief for my shoulders, but helped some.

Your product is above all others that I have tried! I use it very night before retiring and every morning as the day gets started! It usually lasts around 6 hours and I may use another application, but overall I look forward to having this as my "crutch" for every day and night and thanks for a reasonable price! Does not work! Not worth the money!

I bought this for my mom who has arthritis in her knee & lower back. She tried it a couple of times but said she felt no relief. Maybe it's just not for her type of pain. It has a strong aroma to it but it's a more pleasant smell than Bengay.
