Magene H003 (H64 New Version) Heart Rate Monitor, Heart Rate Sensor Chest Strap, Protocol ANT+/Bluetooth, Compatible with iOS/Android APPs

Bought both the cadence and heart rate monitor chest strap to aid training. Its easy to regulate training when in the gym but in the home gym or on my own these last few months some help has been needed and this is where the heart rate monitor has helped immensely.I have had Polar in the past which worked fine until the strap gave up the ghost and most training hasn't needed a HRM especially when training with certain partners but the pandemic soon changed that.The chest strap fits my muscular frame well and makes contact without any issues. The Pebble itself hasn't given me one issue since receipt so am happy there. Compatibility with various apps and my phone has been good if only all the apps I used to use were still free or didn't implement a hike in subscription pricing. That said using with the Adidas running I haven't had any errors or incorrect readings.Battery life still going well even using it for 2 hours a day.Upon first power the Maglene supporting app had an update available for it which was reassuring as some manufacturers aren't so active with software updates.So far so good, looking forward to using the HRM during my mini cut and undertaking more endurance training.

I've used several HRM chest straps from Garmin over the years... plus a few others from Polar, Wahoo, Decathlon.This Magene H64 is comfortable to wears, seems to be giving me the same HR numbers as my Garmin straps and has been working perfectly for several weeks now.Definitely recommended 👌👍

I used the product just on my bike turbo, itworked well and connected. However, it was very heavy on batteries, needed to change them every 2 months and it just stopped working in just under 6 months.I can not return it as it is over 3 months old.Lesson learnt you get what you pay for, going to buy a more expensive mainstream supplier one now.

I found this worked and held a connection much much much better with a drop of electrode gel.

Review in progress. This device has a few connectivity issues when pairing with my Garmin watch.Rather than write off the device, I thought would check to ensure correct usage. Firstly, new battery - still issues.Second step is to tighten the strap - this would be tighter than I'd like, but needs must. It seems to require fairly high fitting, just under the pecs to work 100%. The old polar straps worked pretty much any which way, including low and loose - they didn't need dousing in water either, which this one does.The sensor area is very narrow in comparison to other straps, including my old polar straps.I will persevere, but this may be a case of buy cheap, buy twice.Disappointed.It may work 90% of the time, but this is pretty much useless as a device.

Read reviews of any HRM (high-end brands, generic devices...) and you will see lots of complaints about signal dropouts or pairing problems. I have had a few signal dropouts, but it is WAY better than my Samsung Galaxie watch. Paired easily following the directions. Given the cost of this HRM, I am not sure why anyone would buy an expensive, branded device.
