A19 Grow Bulb Daylight White

When everything went to LED my houseplants all got depressed, listless and lifeless. I did some research then bought these bulbs and I've never been happier. These lights are BRIGHT and my plants are flourishing under them. They install just like a lightbulb, don't hum and I saw no increase in my electric bill from changing to them. They last a long time. The only downplay is color, I wish these were warm color, otherwise they are perfect. Your plants will love them.

These bulbs are just what I needed to get some plants and seedlings to grow. I’ve always had terrible luck trying to keep plants alive indoors, but the problem might have been poor lighting because everything is doing well with grow lights. The bulbs are very bright, so I keep them angled away from my line of vision. The bulb part stays fairly cool, but the area close to the socket gets pretty warm. It’s not hot enough to burn skin, but it’s pretty warm. The bulbs feel funny because they’re plastic, but they produce lots of light. I noticed that they make the plant area more cheerful, like sunshine does coming through a window. People say that you can transform a regular light socket into a grow light with these bulbs, so that might be worth trying. I bought two decorative grow light lamps that can use these bulbs and I enjoy the decorative lamps in my kitchen. They’re angled so that the bulbs are away from my eyes, so they provide brightness and cheeriness without blinding me. The seedlings currently growing under them are doing well and one grew so quickly that I had to put it into a larger pot already. The bulbs don’t break easily, so that’s a plus. It’s nice having the look and feel of sunlight whenever and wherever I want it to appear. I created a plant area in my basement and I actually enjoy spending time down there now. Prior to the grow lights, it felt like a dungeon down there. Even if I wasn’t trying to grow plants, I would keep some grow light bulbs available just to fight back against gloomy weather and an icky basement. They make all the difference in the world.

Waited to do a review so I could use these for a while and report back. They are doing their job. Almost through the winter and my plants that I brought inside are still alive and thriving. I keep the lights on them all the time. Water when needed and fertilizes a couple times. That’s it. So far so good. Been a couple months. Glad I purchased.

These are great for winter grow lights with any kind of plants inside. Have lasted for years without replacing.

Seem kind of dim .. got the 11 watt.. think I’ll get brighter next time ! Bulbs are great so far!!

I’m a big fan of these bulbs- my orchids have been thriving. They typically last me about two years. If you use a metal lampshade, they will crumble and fall apart. I live in an old house, outdated electrical, so I have to be careful how much electricity I use. These are just as good as most other- more expensive, less energy efficient bulbs. However, be purchase cautious when purchasing “used” bulbs. I purchased used, like new condition with damage to the box and received the opposite. The bulbs I received are much bigger than my (same item) previous order, and they have different writing on them. They don’t say full spectrum. It appears they are just plain LED light bulbs. They are filthy dirty and appeared to have water spots/crud. I am returning them and already purchased a brand new replacement. I bought a 3 pack and replaced glass bulbs in my bedroom where I have many plants. This lamp in the photo is one of those I replaced. Within 3 weeks I saw my orchids start to put out flower spikes. This is the first time they have rebloomed for me since I got them 2 years ago. My braided trunk indoor hibiscus has gone crazy and as of this post has 22 blooms starting and tons of new leafs. So excited. These bulbs only are 11 watts. The light is natural white light, not yellow with full spectrum light. On the days it is cloudy and rainy I leave them on all day, and when the sunlight is coming through the windows I leave them on sometimes too. I'm in shock this is not a glass bulb but a plastic one that doesn't get hot. The bulb is even flexible! It is bright but not annoyingly bright, though admittedly all of mine are shaded. I would not hesitate to purchase these again and will keep a stock of them at the ready. I'm thrilled with the results so far and will try them on my cacti and succulents next.

My plants have really perked up after using these bulbs for a couple weeks. They are very bright and compatible with any regular light fixture. I use them in a hanging light fixture above my plants. They don’t get hot to the touch, which is always a concern of mine when it comes to fire safety.
