I purchased this case for my son. He’s 10, special needs and has this thing about wanting to take the case off his electronics. I wanted to make sure it was good for a drop or more and water resistant because he gets flappy when he is happy. We purchased a life proof for his iPad, and that’s worked out great because it requires a key to take it off, but I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on his iPhone SE case. He’s also broken the lifeproof charge port cover and headphone jack. After looking around, I stumbled across this case and saw it had a key. I made sure to read the reviews and after a few reviews in, I decided to check out this case. Look for the review about the person who lost their phone in the snow for a few days. I got it, tested it and put it on my son’s phone. He really likes the wrist lanyard too. It’s easy for him to hold on to (and though I don’t like it, he likes to swing it around on his wrist). I’m so glad we found this spill proof, getting sick proof, Autism proof case. I liked it so much, I ordered one for myself and daughter.**Update** My son somehow lost the round knob over the silencer, maybe while we were hiking. I contacted the manufacturer and they were able to quickly assist me in replacing the case. Honestly, I will recommend this case over any other waterproof case. I’ve had lifeproof and I always experienced a problem with people not being able to hear me or while listening to music and video sounding garbled. I’ve not had any trouble with this and all my accessories work without a problem. I use the adapter in my car for the auxiliary cord, but that’s the only time we have needed it. Also, pop sockets work well on the case and I love the wrist band.

Pro-Fits perfectly with iPhoneSE-The port covers fit very tight right out of the box-Construction and design pass common sense test (o-ring is seated, clips hold front and back in place very tight, durable plastic)-Does not interfere with camera (im sure it does slightly but i cant notice)-Touch works perfectly-Came with headphone jack adapter/extender that maintains the waterproof (maybe more water resistant than proof, i wont test it tho) seal-Audio quality is good (i play music, audio and vid chat. passable for me plus i use headphones most the time)-Very minimalist design and footprint, huge fan.-Great priceCons-Where the home button is, the plastic there may be compromised eventually because the constant pressing of the home button. especially if your using a fingernail. Ill keep my eye on it.-After a few days of use i noticed a very slight formation of an air pocket between the screen and phone's screen, particually around the home button.-The screen will scratch easy-ish. going to see if i can add a glass screen protector on the outside of the case (just in case i drop it and lands on the screen). This may affect touch screen sensitivity, FYI.First world problems-Normal headphones don't fit (as stated, no complaints just a caveat)-Headphone extender is pretty bulky (i deal with it. Plus I am going BT anyways)I plan to add a slight bead of machine oil to the o-ring to maintain the o-ring, keep it soft and water tight even if its not a 100% perfect seal. If i could change anything about it i would add a soft, grippy rubber ring around the sides. I had just bought and installed this case when, the very next day, a foot worth of snow fell in my area. I dropped my phone somewhere while cleaning off my car and couldn’t find it. Three days later, I’m finally moving my car and I see a flash of color in the ice behind my car. I get out, look, and there it is! My phone was frozen solid in a block of ice! I scrapped and chipped at the ice with my windshield ice scraper until o finally freed my phone. And guess what? It turned on within minutes and now I’m writing this review on it. This case is super tough!

Just got it today, so far so good. Did the water test, passed with flying colors, did a test call, could be heard loud and clear! I had an otter box before and I always had complaints that it was muffled or sounded far away or like talking into a Tin can.(this has great sound everyone can hear me, A great plus!) No complaints other than the speaker you put up to your ear the raised part is just a bit off, but doesn't affect the sound quality! It's a thinner case than otter box ones, lighter in weight too! Fits snug. The silent button you have to twist till it's on either side of the button, then you just rotate the button on the outside to turn it off/on. (Leave the back off when you do this, so you can see what your doing.) then just snap it on all the way around! And your done! I love it so far! We'll see how it holds up with 3 boys handing it a lot!

I purchased this waterproof case 8 mos. ago. I have been very happy with it. The instructions were clear and I was able to install the case easily. I especially love that I can put a lanyard on the case. I did replace the lanyard that came with the case with a longer one that makes it easy to put my phone around my neck when I am working out and talking on the phone with my headset. Fortunately I have not dropped the phone in water, but I have dropped it twice on a cement floor and it protected my phone perfectly.Recently I lost the adapter for the headset. I contacted Meritcase and they were able to help me with a replacement. The customer service was impressive, they responded quickly and were very eager to help me. So one of the best things about this case is the customer service. This is a great product at a good price.

First time customer with Amazon , I had a few issues but a couple of phone calls and it was sorted out. Must say I was sceptical about the case, however have never looked back due to it's build quality and the fact it's teenage proof. Thanks to all that helped me with my purchase . Couldn't recommend enough!

This is the third time I have ordered this case for my phone. It is inexpensive but protective and waterproof. I replaced the last one because the film over the home button was getting worn out.
