CAMECHO Car DAB/DAB+ Digital Radio Receiver Adapter Compatible for Most Android Car Stereo Radio with USB Connection

Actually works very well indeed with a Chinese Android headunit running DAB-Z. Didn't use the included windscreen antenna - used the car's existing DAB antenna which provides a strong signal.

No pictures as the unit is hidden, but was easy to fit to my head unit, only issue was length of the coax it was too short, but grabbed an extension cable off Amazon and connected it up. The quality isn't bad, reception of stations in my area isn't the best, but reception in general is ok, the sound quality is what you expect from DAB, not amazing but listenable.

First things first. This piece of kit is excellent.Finally arrived.. (more about that in a bit)Simple plug and play into head unit. After rubbing down a bit of the door frame metal to give it a ground.This was the tricky part, getting access to the metal and fear of snapping a clip that holds the interior of part on.However. Patience is a god send.Fitted with no issues and straight away it picked up radio stations.As I've said. Excellent. So far so good if something happens I'll update this.Right.... Be careful when it says today by 10pm. I ordered it on the 30th June as claimed would be here for 10pm.21.25 came round and it had been sitting at depot since 16.55. 4 hours til delivery shut off.I contacted customer services and explained it hasn't moved, was told it will definitely be there before 10pm.But 22.40 no sign. So contacted again after seeing update, stating delivery by 3rd July? So gone from a same day delivery to waiting days for it???Spoke to customer services again and was told it's been updated should be there by 3rd July. (no good to me)So much for same day delivery?Unfortunately I gave the delivery rating a 1 star. No disrespect to the driver. But it should have been here same day. Also states on packaging same day.Was informed that it was due to an external error??Are amazon now becoming evri?First time ever been let down by amazon for delivery. But when they let you down it's on an epic scale.Not impressed.Just be warned about same day delivery..Apart from that. I'm well chuffed with the item so far. See how it goes when out and about for dab signal..

Started off great, but I seem to have lost a number of channels these last couple of weeks.I'm not sure this is DAB+ rated, I have the vehicles aerial attached to this unit so far better than the window mounted antenna provided.I used to have radio x which was on DAB+, I now cannot seem to find it and the overall number of stations I'm able to find using this device has decreased massively.Has it gone faulty?

Look guys it really easy to install in your Android car player measured the negative tab and it’s not reading don’t have to rub your paintwork in order to make a good connection so don’t worry about it also just download DABz app before install then once installed follow the simple instructions onscreen my location is poor but still managed to get 96 stations on 1st attempt hope this helps ps also use some tape on the USB connection to hold it in better position

For some unknown reason this goes into slow motion i.e. the audio slows down into some surreal unusable but I think complete version of the broadcast, switch stations and all is good switch back again and usually the problem is cleared but not always I normally just switch to the FM version for the rest of the journey, and the next restart switch back to the DAB+ version.

Great product but would recommend using a roof mounted aerial if you have an electric heated front screen
