Q: Will the Uplug system work on a horizontal crack in the floor?

uPLUG uses expandable urethane which is predominantly used for filling vertical cracks in poured concrete foundation walls. uPLUG can be used for sealing cracks in floors, but the more appropriate and easier product to use would be CrackWeld Floor Crack Repair Kit. Q: Uplug polyurethane foam is a single part product. how does it compare to other radonseal dyi two-part urethane injection products?

We are happy to report that we have made significant breakthroughs in single-part urethane foam. Our propriety 1-part foam is comparable to the performance of our 2-part foam. We have been using this one-part formula in high-pressure injection applications for two years now and confident that it will not disappont in DIY low-pressure applications.

Q: Does wall crack need to be wet or injected with water prior to injecting UPlug polturethane foam in order to activate the product?

The beauty of this system is that injecting water into the crack is no longer necessary. This urethane formula relies on the little amount of humidity in the air to expand. This is a much simpler, yet very effective repair procedure.
