Love the view master and reels.
This is an awesome product, my grandkids love this, the pics are much clearer than when this product was first introduced many years ago. I recommend this product. Top notch.

Well built
The viewer itself is pretty durable and seems well made but we just got it today. Bare in mind, they repeat the same pictures because it's 3D. So there are 14 pics on the reel but 7 unique ones.

Not a View-Master product and is not compatible
View-Master reels will not fit in this viewer because the focal length of this viewer is not the same as in the traditional View-Master viewer. Even the VIEWFINDER viewers made in China are OK, but this viewer is not. The images are very poor 3D. If you remember the images that View-Master made from under the sea, these will truly disappoint you. There is no true 3D here. The images are like cardboard cut-outs placed one behind the other.If you don't care what quality your child sees- then this set is OK for you, but if you wish to have your child experience quality images, look for vintage images. There are even some new ones available made by small companies.
