Truglo GLO DOT II Universal Shotgun Sight

Bought this for my Rossi Poly 20 GA. Really easy to install. Snap it on the barrel and it actually fits really tight! I ended with a sore finger tip when I had to peel it off the barrel because I had it ahead of the bead rather than behind it. I can definitely see better. A lot better in low light. Should be great for Dove or Deer.

For the money, this thing is a great bargain. BUT: It is NOT, NO, NOT, all metal. It’s a high grade plastic and it seems to be very sturdy. I’m going to buy a few more to upgrade some of my shotguns. It beats the heck out of a silly little bead!

Really like the sight but does break easily. I bought this because the bead of my shotgun broke off and needed a better option. This snapped right on the barrel. However on my first day turkey hunting I tripped (yes I know I’m an idiot) and the fiber optic broke off. I bought a replacement of these and wasn’t installing it correctly and ended up breaking it on install. So I ended up just ordering the TRUGLO 0.78x5.5 replacement fibers (had to call their support to find out what size fit this) And was able to quickly replace the fiber and now I carry those replacements in my bino pack as well. So love the option, it’s a cheap upgrade that makes a huge difference but buy the replacement fibers or don’t trip with your shotgun..

The visibility of the large red fiber dot compared to a standard brass bead is difference between day and night. It is naturally brighter than the bead in any light. In moderate to bright light the red dot grabs your eye right away. Makes aiming with both eyes open much easier. In darker lighting conditions, it provides at silhouette that's larger than the silhouette my bead would provide. It's a tight fit on my 12ga mossberg. It's a tremendous upgrade.

This is a crappy piece of plastic and do not buy it. Trying to install it on my 12 gauges snapped in half and ended up cutting my finger real bad! The seller needs to be reported to Amazon as a fraud seller

As best I can tell these are NOT metal. Bu they do clamp down and stay secured on the barrel.

I have an old modified sawed off shotgun, it's a Mohawk that was cut down in the past. Whoever did it attempted to weld a ring to the end to hold a handmade site. This gun is probably 50+ years old, maybe older. I can't get the ring off but the site wont stay on. Thought about some JB Weld then I saw this instead. Got it in, snapped it on and it's perfect. When you see it you may think it's too small, but it's not, it will fit your barrel nice and snug. WARNING....line it up because once it snaps TIGHT on it's difficult to reposition if you are off center with your site. Overall though a great addition.

I purchased two of these, both for Mossberg 88 12ga Tactical Shotguns. They are very bright, and work well. My wife and I completed a 4 day tactical shotgun class at Frontsight, and hers made it through, but mine the fiber optic came loose and was lost on the last day. These classes are always a true test of gear, and it seems that these made a 50% showing.

Bei eine Flinte ohne Zielschiene oder Befestigungsmöglichkeiten für andere Zielmittel ist es ein sehr guter Behelf. Die erstaunliche Leuchtkraft erleichtert den schnellen Schuss beachtlich. Vielleicht sollte man das Teil später mir einem temperaturfesten 2k-Kleber dauerhaft fixieren.
