A True Moore Opus
What can I say about this literary gem that hasn't already been said? Moore's imaginative writing continues to build upon the vast mythology he has given this character. These stories are simply unforgettable and well-worth rereading. Can't wait to get to the final book in Moore's series.

Excellent Finale.
Marvelous ending!I'm happy to report that Book 6 is solid as curupay . Great writing (perhaps the best of all the series), breathtaking, powerful artwork that accompanies the most abstract concepts that the series ever touched upon and somehow complements them.Initially I just bought this series in order to know more about the ghosts (companions?) that haunted John Constantine in the Hellblazer series that I was just starting to read, but at the end I found a great mythology here and decided to stay until the end and I'm glad that I did.Read the whole Moore Saga, trust me it is worth your time; it has his down moments as any series, but the journey is going to stay with you for a while.

Swamp Thing reaches the end of autumn.
After six large volumes comprising over 40 comic issues, Alan Moore's time as writer of Swamp Thing comes to a close. This series has reached epic heights, run into some occasional rough patches, and now finally ends as well as any long running issue can be expected to.Swamp Thing's journey across space brings him into contact with a number of familiar faces in the DC universe, including the Thanagarians and the green lantern corps. While one issue in this volume didn't quite work (and that was more of an issue of weird-even-by-Moore-standards rather than actually being badly written) it's amazing to see how easily Swamp Thing slips into all these chunks of the DCU. One of the most impressive things about this volume is how well it sets itself up for future conflict and yet still manages to feel complete. DC could have ended this series here and no one would have blinked. If you haven't already bought the rest of the volumes in this series, please do so. Then you can read this conclusion.

Truly excellent end to Alan Moore's run on Swamp Thing!
What can I say about this collection and Alan Moore that hasn't been said a million times already? This entire Swamp Thing collection is excellent and reminds me what it was like when I was younger and comic books were actually good! That feeling of not being able to wait for the next issue to come out is something that comics have completely lost in today's event-driven shock-and-awe comic publishing world.I have given up on DC Comics as of their ridiculous reboot, but I will continue to purchase these excellent collections from a bygone era. I really hate to see the end of the Alan Moore run on this series. If you want to read a stories that show what graphic storytelling CAN be at it's finest, purchase this entire series!!!Highest possible recommendation!!!

A true American classic. Although written by a British man, Moore has an incredible amount of knowledge when it comes to American history and does a great job at using our countries dark past as inspiration for many of the stories. Swamp Thing deserves a space in any book or comic connoisseurs book shelf.

Tying up Loose Ends
So, it feels that by the end of the arc, Moore started running out of ideas about what to do with the character. Thus, you end up with these books where Swamp Thing is making his way back home through space. The stories are more science fiction, more experimental, and less grounded than some of the other books in the series. I’m not 100% sure it works, but the entire arc ends up tying together well.

Enjoyable to serious fans but good time for Moore to have ended his run on Swamp Thing
The ideas explored in this book weren't nearly as seminal as those earlier in the run, but Moore does bring it all to a nice conclusion. Satisfying for serious fans, but probably not necessary for people who are more casually interested in Swamp Thing.

Alan Moore is amazing
The journey of Alec Holland from lab scientist to swamp god is a journey of self discovery, the dialogues of Moore are out of this world

It's Alan Moore
Saga of the Swamp Thing by Alan Moore is some of the best Swamp Thing story's you can read, there is a hardback version in two part but you can buy the single volumes, there are eight of them, far cheaper.

AEn dehors de la couvertrure les dessins sont décevants
La qualité des dessins intérieurs est très moyenne et la mise en couleurs aussi.La série date de 1987 et montre son age.Globalement décevant au niveau graphique
