This product works as advertised. Creates a great warm flame, easy to get started and easy to clean up after. I was not sure about the wood pellets at first, but I’m glad I went this direction. While this is “portable” we are using it as a stationary fire pit in our backyard.

Really enjoy this. Easy to use and fire will last a while. I have bragged about it to everyone.

Fantastic product! Arrived with small damage on actual firebox but a rubber mallet fixed everything. Produces lots of warmth and practically zero smoke and burns a long time. Type of pellets does not seem to differ no matter what I use. Have used several times already and very, very happy with it.

Worked as expected. But it does take some practice to keep the flame steady. A 40# bag of pellets will easily last two hours from the start and the second bag will last even longer if already lit. The only downside was the craftsmanship. I got the 19” stainless steel one after 4 uses the welds on it started popping. Fortunately I can weld it but I’m sure there are people who cannot. This product would have been 5 stars if not for that.

This fire pit worked very well. Very hot. Beautiful flame. It's been weather resistant so far (I just leave it outside uncovered). You do have to keep it fed. If you let it die down it gets to be a smokey mess. It's hard to let it run at a lower heat, as it needs to burn hot to keep it smoke-free.

Looks sturdy enough. Quality control must be poor. The package is perfectly intact suggesting that the item was dented before being packed at the factory. Too much of a pain to mail it back. A one second glance prior to packing this item would have prevented this disappointment.

WE love the Flame Genie, adding more pellets is an art, do not add to many or it goes out.

Lights within 5 minutes, full flame within 10 min. No way to have good flame w/o smoke last over an hour even if you add to it slowly. Eventually it either doesn’t have enough pellets or it chokes out from too many. The only fix is to stir and get a lot of smoke and ash. If you want a smokeless fire, get propane or natural gas. This thing is not a good investment unless you only want a 45min fire.
