Perfect Replacement
In my home office, I have an old school Toshiba 15" flat screen CRT and Sony DVD player. I play movies or old Star Trek TV shows as I work. The remote for the TV died. This is a perfect replacement. Woks as advertised. Good price.

Not working as a SE-R0295 replacement (despite listing promising it)
Item's listing promises SE-R0295 compatibility, but user's manual sheet does not, and it has not worked (no reaction at all from our Toshiba Blue Ray)User's manual (a glossy, color, 2-sided sheet) does NOT list the SE-R0295 or depict anything like it.While it may work with the ~120 remotes pictured in on the accompanying sheet, most starting with CT-xxxxx, and only 7 SE-Rxxxx, the closest was a SE-R0285 (but not a match)

This remote does NOT replace the SE-R0295 Toshiba remote. It arrives with paperwork indicating a long list of remotes which it will replace. The SE-R0295 is conspicuously not among them. I tried it anyway. The paperwork with the remote is correct. It didn't work. It may work phenomenally with all of the remotes that it actually claims to replace - just not the SE-R0295.

decent replacement. doesnt appear to be the same as the original but works on the model number associated with it.

Could not get it synced with my DVD/VHS player but it was listed as the remote to use for it. Returned.
