These BARD LARGE CAPACITY CENTER ENTRY URINARY DRAINAGE BAGS (4000ml, Bed Bag, Sterile; Model #153509; 3-Pack) hold twice as much liquid as standard 2000ml urinary drainage bags, which makes them ideal for overnight use. These are high-quality Bard drainage bags, labeled as Model 153509.However, the three bags that I received have a fixed double hook (see 5-pack of Bard Model 153509 drainage bags ). I was expecting bags with a single swivel hook, as shown in the product page photo. The product page text promises “a double hook hanger with string”, but how could I know which product page description was correct, when I wanted single-hook bags?

Great Bags!!!!!!!
This is my 3nd time to buy this product. It’s a little pricey for me (Medicaid doesn’t cover this big, just the smaller 2,000s). So of 2 reasons for 4 stars. The other is for the valve itself. It leaks while emptying to the toilet and valve is open. For some unknown reason I have it weep a little and just slightly on the intake side against the bag itself. Other than that, it weeps a tiny bit somewhere at the clasp end. It’s too minuscule of a leak to find. Oh well, just another reason to wash my hands. It’s not worriesome to try other bags (all of them have at least one flaw, imho (experience).

overnight catheter bags
This overnight bag has the metal clip on the drain tube and stays closed. Prefer this type of closure and don't worry about it releasing and opening up accidentally.

No Anti-Reflux Chamber!
Both the picture and product description show an item with an Anti-Reflux Chamber. I specifically purchased this for that feature, because I wanted to reduce my father's risk of infection.The bags are otherwise in good shape, large capacity, and double hooked. They are just not what I wanted to purchase and I feel the product description is deceptive.Unfortunately, I waited until it was urgent to buy a replacement for his overnight bag and will have to make do.
