Everything I hoped it would be
Everything I was hoping it would be! It did take all day to build and was a little intimidating at first, the first few steps were kind of difficult but got easier as we went and was so worth it. It came in two boxes and was very heavy so we took it out of the box piece by piece to get it upstairs. Definitely recommend going out of order and putting the top mattress and slats in before building the roof because that would of made it easier to get it in. Overall amazing bed and perfect for my 6 year old.

Not bad - Bring Help to Assemble
Bunk Bed with TrundleThe Positive+ Nice looking+ Fair value considering what it offers vs. other products in the same price range+ Packaged well (3 boxes)+/- Real wood, but it is very soft and prone to crack!+ Kid approvedThe Negative- Poor instructions - Diagrams only. Instructions are not intuitive in a few areas and one had two minor mistakes- C+ engineering - Decent, but many small changes would simplify and expedite the build process. For example; desperately needs an engineering change to allow the rafters and roof to be built on the ground then simply lifted up and fastened onto the bed frame. Its a tall bed and as-is, we found ourselves on ladders in order to affix the top screws for the roof boards- D+ Manufacturing:-- I had to drill one hole that wasn't drilled at all, and had to finish drilling 2 others-- There were 2 areas where the paint was very thin - both were in prominent locations so I had to find similar paint, paint the pieces and let them dry - delaying completion-- Pilot holes were inconsistent in depth and several were off a few millimeters. There are no pilot holes to simplify roof installation-- 2 pieces were noticeably bowed and one had a slight twist; each required considerable effort and in one case, brute force to install them in a way that looked acceptable-- There were a few noticeable scuff/rub marks on two pieces - they clearned up with a magic eraser and touch up paint-- Missing hardware - shorted 2 screws and 2 dowels. I had to make a trip to the hardware store to finish the bed-- Most of the large pieces did not have stickers to identify them. This resulted in some trial and error and a little re-work- The bed could be sturdier. When fully assembed it is sturdy enough for smaller children, but I added additional supports in a few place to reduce lateral movement. Should help it survive the horseplay of a few high energy 5-7 years oldsIt is a cute bed for when my grand children sleep over or just need a nap. While the kids love the bed, they have no idea what a time and soul draining experience it was to build. I've built more complex items using worse instructions, but I have never spent so much time building one piece of furniture. I am an engineer, so I am normally pretty good at diagrams and building things. Fortunately, I had the help of a son and daughter-in-law. Tip: The more hands the better. This is a big bed. Before ordering, I recommend you verify the measurements of the room you plan to put it in.

Love their Bunk Beds!!!
A lot of the prior reviews showed girl rooms but I love the versatility and simplicity of the design, allowing you to design to your needs. We live at the coast so I created a lifeguard station theme with our bunks and my boys absolutely love it! Quality is strong and sturdy and built time wasn’t bad, although we did hire a professional, as we needed it assembled in a pinch. Very happy with this purchase and know it will provide joy to my boys for years to come!!

Flimsy, non-durable product
- Installation was an 8 hour process for two people- Parts were very flimsy, very lightly painted and easily cracked

No instructions
It's amazing I love it! Easy instructions ( I didn't get mine in the box so they sent it to me via link not long after I asked) it does take awhile to put together but nothing hard. I did it by myself. My kids are so excited for it.

Best bed ever!
The media could not be loaded. I cannot believe this bed was solid wood and perfectly packaged and easy to assemble (with a drill and husband assisting)We priced the same bed at brick and mortar stores that was not solid wood at 2-3x the price. The slide held my butt, and I may or may not have went down a few times, even though it’s a little steep. The only negative is the smell of the paint on the wood, needs a few days to air out, but since it’s for our granddaughter who hasn’t visited her new room yet, it’s no biggie.Comes in two boxes, and in our case a day or so apart. But I’d recommend this bed for any room for any child. The bottom bunk is practically floor level, and I won’t worry about falls, yet the twin size is large enough for me to crawl in and play too!

Great!
The media could not be loaded. I got this to upgrade my 2 and 4 year old, it's perfect. I was a little sad I could only put the ladder on the right side because in the 'questions asked' page it said it could go on either. Some of the screws stripped really easily so be very careful when putting them in, it doesn't come with extra!! There were also some screws that didn't have the Allen or Phillips top at all, just a flat metal so they were useless. It took SO LONG to put together but that's coming from someone who doesn't put together huge pieces of furniture often. It is SUPER STURDY and definetley worth the price overall, most places charge like 3 times this amount. I had a few breakdowns along the way LOL but man the end result was so worth it
