Perfect for their purpose.
Functional and pretty. These are heavy enough to keep everything in place. Washable, reusable, very sturdy. Love these things.

Works well with wide mouth half gallon canning jars
They worked very well in my first batch of kimchi. I needed a fork to lift them out of the jars but that worked well. Easy to sterilize and reuse. I was afraid they would be too small for my wide mouth half gallons but they were perfect.

Simple, easy, do the job
These are nice glass weights for the inside if Mason or Ball jars. They keep the veggies in the liquid. They are sturdy and have good weight to them.

Great customer service. Fast shipping, great food grade ferment weights. They work great with wide mouth jars. I really like this product.

Okay, these have the weight, good. They do have an exposed knob to grab but it is still too slippery to work very well with dry and worse with wet hands. But, because the company does not tape their product box closed to secure the contents, all four weights went put into the shipping box and bounced around and all four are chipped. They are going back. I needed weights for my sauerkraut so amazon sent a replacement set. They stayed in the product box his time but only because some heavier stuff locked them into the shipping box so they couldn't fall out. Just beware if you order these. They could fall out and bounce around and get broken and chipped making them insafe for use with food.

This product works as intended. It does keep fermenting products under the brine or water line. Easy to use, easy to clean.

Great customer service
1 of the 4 weights I received had stray particles trapped in the glass, and another had a hair trapped in it. While this doesn't affect the functionality, I couldn't stand looking at that in my fermentation jars. I contacted the company directly, they were very helpful and sent me a new set. The new set was flawless. Highly recommend based on customer service alone. Great value for the money as well, and they are well made.

a great component for fermenting
The idea is great however consider having a flat plate for these weights to rest on because they just fall right to the bottom if you don’t.
