I have been a loyal Otterbox purchaser for several years. Whenever I got a new phone, I got a new Otterbox. However, the last two I bought have had real quality problems. The thin "skin" of the case has begun to peel off. I had the last one for less than a week and it started doing that. So I returned it to Amazon and needing a case, I saw this one and it looked just like my Otterbox but half the price. So, what have I got to lose? So far it has held up well with none of the "peeling" that the Otterbox did. My only complaint was the color choice. I would have preferred an all black case and they didn't have one. So I have a two-tone blue one that looks OK but not my favorite. Other than that, I like it.

I received this earlier today for the phone I gave to my son.To remove the rubber shock protection, just grab the flaps at the charging jack and headphone jack and pull the bottom seal away from the channel. You can work it off around the rest of the channel with your fingers.It was a little difficult to open plastic case, but I think that's actually a good thing; It won't come off if he drops it. I used 1.14 mm guitar pick to pop one of the latches open and then worked around in one direction to pop the other latches. Finding the easiest latch was the most difficult part. And plastic wedge could be used (maybe even the edge of a sharp spatula). I wouldn't recommend using a metal screwdriver to pop the latches, because it could bend the plastic.Once the phone was in the case, it was a firm fit. Shaking the phone revealed no wobbling on the inside. The plastic sheet which protects the phone's glass doesn't seem to be very hard, but it is snug against the glass. The shock protection seems rugged.The phone is my old one and is currently near mint; I would easily be able to tell if it becomes damaged. If the case fails to protect the phone or breaks easily, I will update my review.

I bought this case for my mom after her otterbox of 3 years broke. I was very hesitant. But for the price and reviews I decided to give it a shot. Theres 3 parts to the case the actual cover which is plastic shell (baby blue in this case), the rubber cover that goes on top of the plastic (dark blue), and then the black removable clip just as an extra feature. Theres also a screen protector attached to the case, which my mom really wanted.My mom loves how durable it is! And how easy it is to grip. The only issue really was getting it open! It was so hard, which I get... it has to be sturdy. but I had to really pry it open which made some of the plastic clips bend but no big deal still closed (which is shown in the last picture). Other than that the case works great! Just as much as protection as a otterbox! Hopefully it last just as long!Oh and it charges on the wireless charger! +++ Ofcourse with the black clip off.

Absolutely protects an expensive phone , in fact with so much protection you won't be able to use a wireless charger with this case on. I have even removed only the rubber outer part: still will not pick up a wireless charging signal. This may be a small price to pay for safety, in hopes of avoiding the higher price of screen repair or replacing your phone all together. I do not use the hard plastic outer case that snaps on (the one that has the 'clip') it makes it too bulky and the clip does not rotate like in the photo.

I was in a hurry when ordering this and thought I was getting an otter box. I was surprised when it came and it wasn't. My fault for not reading it better. It looks like the otter box and it fits snug and feels durable. The plastic encasement feels a little weaker and I had a lot of trouble getting it open to insert my phone. The piece around the camera lens is plastic and not rubber like the otter box. The screen protector is nice. It feels like it fits against my phone better and it doesn't get smudged up as bad as otter box. Tapping on my apps seems easier. With that being said, I kind of like my new case and feel that it will protect my phone just as well. Time will tell.

Could not access the case to get my phone in it. Instructive photos were not clear. If I could select no stars I would. That being said maybe your case will not have been SUPER GLUED together and it will open nicely for you. The case seemed strong and seemed it would offer good protection. If you can open it and get your phone in it you will be happy with it. My other concern, had I been able to finally access the case what would I go thru when a battery replacement was needed? Best for me to look for a better option to protect my cellphone. Also, I could not find a contact phone or email to get help from the manufacturer of this product to get help. Returned the case via Amazon the next day after receiving it

This is a really good case. The second day I had it I dropped my phone about four feet onto concrete. No damage to the phone or the case. Needless to say I am very happy with my choice. Putting the case on isn't too difficult but removing it can be tricky. Just have patience, a thin flat edge tool, and follow the arrows. When putting the case on it can be a challenge getting the case buttons to line up with the phone buttons but a pinch here and there gets it done. It works great with the Samsung brand wireless charger that I have but doesn't work with the off brand (Pleson) wireless charger that I have. The flip-up covers for the power and audio ports are a little stiff but not so bad that I've had to cut them off (like I did with a previous case from another manufacturer).Bottom line is this is a fine product.

The case appears to be impossible to open without breaking it. 10 minutes after trying their instructions on how to open it I have had enough. Returning it. I suspect some cases are easier to open than others. I suspect I got a case that is exceptionally hard to open and I would have to break it to open it. I can imagine what it would be like trying to replace an SD card even if you could pry the case open without breaking it. I will get a flexible rubber case that just slips on.
