Yes. However, your computer needs to have media software installed on it, and it needs to be associated with DVDs. Windows comes with Windows Media Player. That should work properly. Or, you can use another media player, such as VLC, which is free. As long as a DVD is associated with the media software, then you can play the DVD with this device.
