Good Quality Value for money.
This kit is amazing! strong and sturdy and very easy to install. You get everything you need and everything is so well packaged with clear instructions on what goes where and how to install everything. We've never had 100% signal strength before but today with this set up we have 100% on both tuners. The recent wind damaged our old dish leaving us without any TV. We ordered this kit and it arrived less than twenty four hours after we ordered it, we were worried we wouldn't have any TV over Christmas. My youthful neighbour has been in this morning and fitted the new Dish for us and we now have TV again. The whole instal including removal of all the old equipment and wiring took around two hours. It would have been quicker but we had issues with the old dish removal so that lengthened the install time.Top marks all round thank you ssl for your service and great value product.

Easy to Fit & works perfect!
Bought this as we live in a very poor tv reception area, and down in a valley. TV ariel engineer advised that a new tv ariel could be fitted at a cost of £120, but it wouldn't really make any difference to how many channels we receive (we only got around 20 channels on Freeview (and 10 of them were +1 channels!).He recommended a satellite dish (same price as ariel fited) but I'd need to buy a FreeSat box (around £50 to £60).We bought one and then I thought I'd check just how much a new dish cost. Was amazed to see how low a price this full kit was (we went for 30M cable option). Arrived quick, and installation was pretty straight forward once you got the dish/bracket assembled. Check out where your neighbours dishes are pointing as a rule of thumb. Make sure bracket is installed to the wall perfectly level as this is important.Once installed, set up using the included signal meter was easy. Once tuned we got 187 channels, and all have perfect picture etc (including HD channels which look super sharp now).So chuffed with this as never realised how easy it is to install and set up the dish. This kit looks to be well made, and has everything you need to install, just need a drill (preferably with hammer action), a small centre punch to mark the holes and give the drill a good starting point. Also a spirit level to make sure the bracket is bang on level/straight.Really happy with this kit and highly recommend it.

Be careful what you aim for...
Relatively inexpensive and it all goes together with relative ease. Just be careful what you aim for... The signal meter is indeed quite simple and it's a bit of a faff to get the right volume of tone that indicates you have a satellite with good signal. I initially had what I thought was a good signal using an app to point me in the right direction - but nothing on the sat box. An aerial installer advised me (free!) to turn it 1.8° to the left and there it was, relief!!Although I didn't need the cable and mounting bracket, it was still cheaper than buying what I needed individually.Good luck.

Good quality Zone 1 dish and accessories
I wanted to add Freesat channels to the existing Freeview (terrestrial) feeds available in the house. Plenty of videos to watch on YouTube to help with the dish assembly, but in truth, although the guide is brief, the setup is actually pretty straightforward, you just needs a 13mm socket to attach the bracket to your wall, and a 10mm socket to adjust the Azimuth (East & West) adjustment and Elevation adjustment once its mounted. The azimuth is the most important alignment, once you have found the satellite, it is just a case of setting the elevation to get the strongest signal. The "dishpointer" app and/or website are invaluable for ensuring you are pointing at the right satellite to start with (there are loads up there!). Make slow movements, constantly turning down the signal meter to the mid point each time it gets to maximum. Once you have the azimuth set it is far easier getting the elevation right rather than the other way around. The Quad LNB supplied will feed 4 different TV's, or 2 TV's (or set-top-boxes) if they have PVR recording capability. I purchased the kit with 50m of twin coaxial cable, which I cut in half to create a 25m feed for our living room TV and another 25m feed to the telly we have in the bedroom. All the components supplied seem to be good quality, even down to the raw plugs for the bracket and the cable clips to nail the cables to the wall. The kit supplies 4 F-type connectors with the LNB, there are 4 more F-type connectors already attached to the ends of the twin coaxial cable and two F-Type barrel joiners as well.I'm really pleased with this kit and its performance. For the price, I consider it to be great value.

Replaced my Sky dish myself and saved £270
We'd been using an 8yr old Sky dish for FreeSat and it stopped working. Local aerial engineer confirmed the rusty dish needed replacing as the LNB had died. He quoted £160 to replace the LNB or £310 to replace the dish, I saw this on Amazon and sent him on his way.I could've just got the LNB for ~£15, but could see the old rusty dish could do we being replaced too. The dish with LNB sells for ~£28 and the satellite alignment tool for £10, so this package was perfect and I ended up with a spare cable and plugs.Instructions were quite hard to follow, but the dish assembly was straightforward and I watched a YouTube video about using the satellite alignment tool. The wall mount matched my existing sky dish exactly, so unscrewed that one from the wall and screwed the new dish wall mount into the previous plugs.Had checked the basic alignment before I took the old dish down (it was pointing straight at the front door of the house across the street). So roughly aligned the new dish, then used the signal tool to fine tune the position.Couple of tips:1) in order to power the satellite finder tool the cable needs to be plugged into the TV and the TV turned on and set the the TV source. You can tell you've got the right cable plugged in as the tool has a small backlight that comes on when you connect the cable connecting it to the TV (the TV sends power down the cable, to the dish).2) for FreeSat in the UK you want to align the dish to Astra 28.2E (smart phone apps can show you the direction if you're not sure, but it was probably the direction of the old dish). If the signal tool is showing you have aligned the dish but you can't get FreeSat to tune on the TV, it's possible like me you first pointed the dish at Astra 19.2E they're pretty close. You can test this by switching the TV tuner to satellite and selecting the Astra 19.2 satellite, if it finds channels then you're pointing at the wrong satellite. Back up the ladder with the signal tool enabled, move the dish a little to the left and you'll find another signal, that's Astra 28.2E that carries FreeSat, back to the TV and scan for FreeSat channels and it found all the channels.3) the small bolts to align the dish are easy to tighten using a small 10mm spanner, but the larger bolts in the wall were bigger than the socket set I had (possibly 12 or 13mm at a guess) I used one of those universal spring loaded socket attachments (£4 at Tesco) which fit my electric screwdriver and made removing and screwing in the new bolts a breeze. A bit tricky up a ladder holding the dish and the electric screwdriver, get someone to help you pass things up.Quite enjoyed the process and saved myself £270
