Good quality extension cable
After moving my TV, the existing satellite cable didn’t reach. I bought this cable in the hope that it would be a cheap alternative to replacing the existing cable. The cable itself is of good quality and works fine. And meets my requirements as an extension between the existing cable and the sattelite box.Excellent product for the purpose.

Cheap. Wiggle to get a picture!
Okay. This is cheap but the connectors are very cheap.Difficult to push the wire through the hole without bending. But once connected the sky box showed an error message ‘no signal’.Okay. Wiggle around for a while. Screw the connectors tighter (note one connector just turns and turns).Eventually when bending the cable around at different angles the tv picture pops up and all is wellPut the cable down the back of the tv cabinet and ‘no signal’ again.Poor connectors. Cheap and cheerful.Don’t make my mistake pay and get the decent stuff.

Quality Satellite Cabling Kit
Kit contains all you need to connect satellite dish to receiver or extension of current installations. Includes cable clips for neat cable runs. Cable has F-type female connectors on each end of cable plus 2 male-to-male adaptors to satisfy all possible installation requirements. You will require spare female F-type cable connectors if you need to cut the cable to customised length. If one end is to be installed outside to satellite dish suggest you attach weather proof rubber sleeves - these are not provided in the kit. I would certainly purchase again.

Cheap but effective solution for tricky places
I initially bought a single rail for the bedroom which has a rounded corner window, 1930's Art Deco style. I ran the rail fully one wall and past the corner. This allowed 4 curtains to be pushed aside during the day and during the night the whole wall and the window were behind the curtains. This made the room look a bit like a posh hotel room, which was nice.Installation was pretty simple. Drill a hole, put in a plug, and screw the clip on. I put the clips on every 30 cm which seemed a bit much first but turned out to be the right choice. I later installed 2 sets in another room with 40-50 cm apart and it doesn't look as neat as with the 30 cm distance. The rail in flexible plastic. I'd open the bound roll and bend it back against my knee to make it straighter. It's worth trying to make it as straight as possible, otherwise the rail looks a bit wobbly or bumpy when installed. Attaching the rail to clips is a doddle. Put the rail's groove into the clip and turn a little lever to the side and it's on. We had light blocking curtains and light see through curtains and the railing has stayed on.I think this system is a cheap and effective way to put up curtain rails in odd shaped rooms or if you fancy running one the whole wall for effect. At £12.99 for 5 m it can be beat.

Ideal extension cable
After moving furniture and TV around in our lounge I attempted to extend the Sky TV antenna cable using co-axial cable and connectors purchased from a local hardware store. However my electrical skills are limited and our Sky box kept losing signal. Purchased this pre-assembled cable extension and it works perfectly - Sky signal as strong and clear as if the TV was in its original position.
