Works very well- charges the host, powers the Tablet and a display and transfers data
Color me skeptical, I didn't have high hopes. I am using an Android tablet running USB Serial Terminal to monitor and embedded system over some days. I needed to be able to charge the tablet while powering the 10.1" display with the processors. This does it fine, hasn't missed a beat.

Works as advertised :)
I recently purchased this adapter for use with my iPad Pro, and I've been very happy with it. The 2-in-1 design is convenient, as it allows me to both charge my device and connect it to other USB devices. The 60W PD charging feature is impressive and has allowed me to charge my iPad quickly and efficiently. I've also used the adapter with my Samsung Galaxy S22 and it works just as well. The OTG feature is also very handy, as it allows me to connect my phone or tablet to USB devices such as a keyboard or mouse. This has been particularly useful when working remotely or on the go. Overall, I think this is a great product that offers a lot of value for the price. The build quality is solid and I've had no issues with connectivity or charging. I'd highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable USB C adapter.

Won't charge Fire Tablet 8", 10th gen. while running Octo4a to 3D PRINT, but DID w OTHERS (2)
Sadly, this seems too current limited to charge a Fire Tablet 8", 10th generation while printing over USB to a 3D printer (Anycubic Mega X). HOWEVER, it did work FINE with an Android Phone, AND also a 2 year old Walmart 8" Tablet, allowing me to print and charge simultaneously so I wouldn't rule it out for your phone/tablet just yet (unless a Fire 8"/10th gen obviously). It appears to not pass enough current to satisfy the Fire Tablet, despite testing with both the original 1A charger that came with the Fire tablet as well as 2 different 2A chargers that I had. On a happier note, the Fire Table 8",10th gen has run for over 2 hours printing various things and is still at 90% battery, so I think you could safely print continuously over 7 hours straight on a charge via Octoprint. Also you could use Octoprint to load the file up to the SD card in the printer, disconnect or turn off the tablet, and then use the normal print menu to run a longer print from the SD Card (like overnight). I know this removes some of the benefit of using Octoprint. But, if over 90% of your prints are under 7 hours or so, this will definitely get you connected to the printer for Octoprint from Android. I have seen other OTG adapters claim to be "higher current", which since this adapter did charge 2 other devices while letting them print but not the Fire tablet on even a higher current charger, suggests it is the adapter that has a current limiting circuit. Not a fault of the mfgr., just a design limitation when using high charge current devices like a Fire Tablet, 10th gen.

Works with Chromecast with Google TV!
I purchased this item to use with a Chromecast with Google TV dongle for adoptable storage. I am using it with a SanDisk Ultra Fit 128GB USB 3.1 Flash Drive. It works perfectly for this purpose and its color matches the CCwGTV in "Snow" color. It is also very lightweight, so doesn't put much of a strain on the Chromecast's HDMI cable. There are not many USB-C OTG cables to choose from other than large, heavy "port expanders" with multiple ports (I tried using one of these port expanders that I had laying around and received a warning from the Chromecast that there was insufficient power available). I chose this model because of its color, small size, light weight, and its claim to be USB 3.0 compatible. The UltraFit flash drive that I am using with it is fast, so I wanted an OTG cable that would not be the bottleneck. That having been said, I couldn't tell you if the Chromecast with Google TV is actually capable of transferring data across this cable at USB 3.0 speeds or not -- but running apps from the flash drive seems snappy enough. The power cable and power adapter that come with the CCwGTV can power this with no complaints. In fact, I have a 2015 Samsung TV that provides enough power through its USB port to power this combination.

Worked well!
I needed this to connect a Zoom multistomp guitar pedal to an apple product. Worked perfectly, was easy, and seems durable. Great value.

Works as intended
I have both a OnePlus Nord N200 and just got a cheap Lenovo Tab M9 (2023) from Black Friday sales. Both have proper support for power passthrough, and so this OTG adapter works flawlessly on both of them. I can plug in an external hard drive and charge the phone/tablet at the same time. For context, hard drives require more power than Android devices give out through their USB ports. If you plug them in directly, they disconnect a lot because they can't get the power they need to spin up. As a result, it's kinda become my go-to when testing adapters like this. This one clearly provides both power to charge my devices and power to the attached USB device, ensuring both function as intended. Note that if a USB device is particularly power-hungry, it can slow the rate at which the host device charges. Without a USB device plugged in, this provided enough power to charge my phone and tablet at the same rates as the adapters included with each one. That seems in line with the 60W power delivery claim being made, which is generally the standard for "fast charging" on mobile USB-C devices. In short, it works as intended. If you need a host of USB devices, you'll probably be better off getting a full hub that has power delivery/power passthrough instead. But if all you need is the occasional flash drive or a wired keyboard/mouse/gamepad or something, this works great.

Burning smell when tried to connect Fiio DAC to Pixel 6 pro
While using this adapter to charge my pixel 6 pro I connected my Fiio DAC to the usb A port side so I could watch some music videos (through over the ear headphones) while the phone was being charged. After about a half an hour I started smelling an odd burning odor coming from the phone so I unplugged this adapter. I then checked my phone to see if it had any damage. At first it looked pretty grim because when I plugged in my phone to my regular charger, the phone didn't recognize it. This happened a couple of times - and then it did recognize the charger. Whew! But then off and on the next day it would sometimes not recognize the charger anymore so I used a paper clip end to clean off the contacts in the phone charging port in case the burning had put some residue on the contacts. As of four days later the phone seems to be back to normal now. Was the problem because I was using power hungry headphone cans while at the same time trying to charge the phone? I don't know, but I've thrown this gadget away, as I don't want to take any more chances. :(

Exatly as advertised
Bought this little dongle to add a USB stick to my Google TV. Works flawlessly, able to put retro games on a USB and installed an emulator on my Google TV with a paired Bluetooth controller. Does exactly what I want, without needing to upgrade power brick. Edit: bought 2 more because I was very happy with 1st one. Still working great, but 1 minor issue is if I connect this with Google TV and also using the Google Ethernet power adapter, Google TV no longer recognizes the Ethernet and won't connect to internet that way. Using WiFi still works just fine. Slightly disappointed because I have to choose between retro games (with this device) or Remoteplay on Ethernet (without this device). Yes I know, Remoteplay will work okay on WiFi, but I wanted to go hardwired to improve latency when streaming my PS5. Not a deal breaker, I can find other uses for this device.

Excellent quality for music streaming on Roon
I really like the dongle. I use it in a wifi music streamer set-up for a secondary sound system. It is an end-point for the high end Roon music software. I connect the dongle in an iPad 10th gen, connect a Dragonfly red DAC in the usb out, and it yields great results, the sound is flawless. I haven't had any connection issue, and no interference caused by the power supply side. I tried the same set-up using an old google pixel 2 but the results were not as good. It was connecting, but there was a lot of interference, I had to mess with the settings, and the connection wasn't as solid. I really like the build quality of the dongle. The braided cable is easy to bend to tuck away the cable and the metal casing feels very sturdy. It looks nicer and feels more solid than Apple's white plastic dongle for their lighting connection I was using previously.
