This device does exactly what it's advertised to do. I use it mainly to cover spaghetti when I reheat it in the microwave to prevent splattering.It's a lot easier to clean the hover cover than the inside walls of the microwave. When not in use, the device conveniently attaches to the roof of my microwave via magnetic attraction. It's always there when I need it. And, you can leave it there to cook other things not requiring a cover --- like TV dinners with plastic film or frozen vegetables in pre-packaged bags. Just place the stuff you want to cook inside the microwave as you normally would, leave the hover cover attached to the roof, and cook. But for things that splatter, placing the hover cover on top of them before cooking prevents messy clean ups. The hover cover is a very clever idea and mine works well.

I purchased this at the request of my wife; I wasn't overly interested in it and thought it was a waste of money. We have been using it now for about a month and I am very happy we picked this up. I have three kids that do not know how to cover up items they are microwaving; either that or they are simply to lazy to throw a napkin over it. Regardless, this cover has been exactly what we needed. It is always handy as it sticks (magnetically) to the inside top of the microwave. This allows everyone to simply drop it down over their dish and then when they take the dish out, they pop it back to top of the microwave. I can absolutely confirm that it is WAY easier to clean this cover as compared to cleaning the splatter off of the inside of the microwave!

This is almost the best thing since sliced bread. I bake bacon in the oven, then reheat in the microwave when needed and this item covers it perfectly without splashing grease all over the microwave. I can reheat anything and I don't have to add other covers. Some dish covers will get soft and bend in the microwave and so I don't have to use them when using this lid. When reheating lasagna or other pasta dishes with a lot of sauce, it can really splatter...this lid contains it. It's easily washed and put right back in the microwave for next use. Magnets hold it quite well to the roof of the microwave.

I saw this on a shopping channel and thought it was a great idea - but not for almost 20 dollars! So I found this on Amazon for less that half the price. Overall, I think it is a good value. The plastic is somewhat flimsy but still very effective. It's been spattered with tomato sauce and hasn't stained yet. The magnets should be a little stronger - why I didn't give it 5 stars - but as long as I place it carefully, it stays up. Because it lives in the microwave, and I don't have to hunt for it, I use it much more than I did my old (non-magnetic) one. I find my food reheats much better when it's covered. Best of all, I don't have to find space for it. I recommend this.

My husband ordered this and I was a little skeptical but I have to say I really like this cover. What I like most is the magnets keep it attached to the ceiling of the microwave so I don’t have to constantly remove the cover or balance something on top of it when I am to lazy to remove it! And when I need it, I just pull it down from the top of the microwave. Because it is opaque, it looks nice when you open the microwave too. It appears to be easy to clean. I have only had to wipe food off of it once. It does cover our large plates nicely too. We have really big dishes! It is a winner.

I love this product....it works great! The photograph shows the "Hover-Cover" fitting over a square-shaped plate. I also have square-shaped plates and the dinner plates are a little too big for the Cover to fit over completely, but it still does the job. We used to use a paper towel to keep food we were re-heating from splattering all over the inside of the microwave oven. No more! The "Hover-Cover" is the perfect tool for the job of re-heating food and then "hovering" above on the inside of the oven. Great idea and I'm so glad someone finally thought of a gadget like this. I'd get one for my daughter, but she only uses her microwave when she has to.....imagine that!

Es una excelente compra. Funciona perfecto si no se usa queda guardada en el “techo” del horno, si se quiere usar siempre está a la mano.

La verdad es que la idea me gustó mucho pero tengo un microondas empotrado Bosch y la tapa cabe justo. Cuesta un poco que la tapa quede sujeta arriba, enseguida cae... pero bueno, hace su función

Es muy práctico justo como la foto lo que no me gustó es que no venían kas indicaciones en el empaque

Todo iba perfecto y funcionaba muy bien además de la utilidad de poder pegar la cubierta en el microwave, hoy se quemó la placa con el magneto y casi ocasiona un incendio en mi casa, decepcionado, tengan cuidado
