Needed it. Was able to find youtube instructional. However, screen had a code on it that couldn’t be removed; gets in the way of viewing.

Got this for my HP, whose screen had been cracked for over a year. Had a quote of $150, decided to see how hard it was to repair myself. I used a screwdriver kit that had the smaller sizes, took less than 10 minutes, works perfectly. Third of the cost of the quoted repair. Literally had like 10 eyeglass size screws and a plug.

First time having a matte screen, don't know if it's supposed to be that at but screen is a little dark. Other than that it's cool!

Ordered the matte version for less glaring issues. Came in today installed fairly easy. Keep in mind the connections are very small so must be gental. Works great and hope the wife does not step on and break this one.
