I bought this as a gift for my mother this past christmas and I ended up giving it to her a few days before because we were both sitting at the table bored. When she opened it, her face lit up, as she has been wanting to start making candles but hasn't had the means to. She opened the box and started looking at everything and getting it set up as she read the instructions and asked me if I wanted to give it a go. We spent a few hours making candles, listening to music and enjoying quality time. There is a lot that comes in this kit so you will have enough to do to keep you busy for at least a couple hours. There were fresh rose buds and lavender, as well as a handful of others that you can decorate your candles with. There were 6 fragrance oils that you can use to make scented candles. There was a decent amount of wax beads to start which filled all the candle tins and we still had some left over. There was a total of 10 tins I think. And it also came with labels and warning labels. Overall a great gift, a great hobby, and very therapeutic. I highly recommend whether it be for you or a loved one/friend. Definitely a great purchase and you won't regret it.

WOW! WOW! WOW! This kit has sooooo much stuff. It's a great kit for a starter like myself. I've just started making candles and this has everything you need and more to start making candles. It's definitely worth the price for all the essential stuff you need. I have started using this kit and it's a great kit, love the burner and the wax that comes with it. I was so excited when I got it, that I started using it as soon as I opened it. I can't wait to make more candles with this kit. It's so fun. I would highly recommend this kit for anyone who is just starting out making candles. It's great and you will have all the items you need to start making candles immediately. AWESOME!!!!!!

Bought for my 11yo as Easter gift. I would be hesitant to let her use by herself initially since the heating element could definitely burn her or anything else around if not paying close attention. Easy to use. Instructions were clear. Came with plenty of supplies for making plenty of candles. I would say you have more scents/colors/petals than you will use for the amount of wax that is provided. We did not use a full amount of essential oil per bag of melts and the candles still smelled wonderful. My daughter had fun creating scents and writing out the labels. Be cautious in how much of the petals are used in the candles so that you don’t accidentally start a small fire while burning your new candles like I did 😅. I would recommend this product for those interested in learning to make candles.

This is a good set for beginners. We had never tried making candles before but this has everything needed to get started and experiment with. Good value for the price and it's been a lot of fun. It does get very hot.

This is ok for older kids. The burner puts off a very bad smell, burn outside. The wax does get very hot. It is hard to clean up. Makes a cute candle, but I would recommend buy your own wax with smells that you enjoy. I would not let younger kids use this.

Quick and easy to use! Only improvement would have been a better explanation on how many candles each bag of wax makes (It makes two candles) and how to best clean the pitcher after pouring.
