great undershirt but NOT a good fit for athletics
The torso length and arm length for the XL I bought are normal XL size. The shoulders are also normal XL size. It's just that the chest and torso are very narrow and long. It fits like a tube sock, which explains why the model in the promotional photo looks like he's got a hot poker in the small of his back. But hear me out: the shirt is comfortable, very soft, nice med-heavy weight, and a great price. So if you don't mind the shirt fitting like a tight undershirt across the chest and torso, then it's a great deal. I bought two and wear them as undershirts every day. As long as you don't get too sweaty you can even wear the shirt all day, drape it over a chair at night, and wear it all day, etc., for 3 days without any odor. If, however, you intend to wear this as a single layer or if you just like an athletic cut, then look elsewhere. The cut is NOT athletic at all.

Well made - Finally, A Shirt For Tall Guys!!! Yay!
The shirt is cut a bit long, which is GREAT! No more tugging my shirt down because it's creeping up. So many of these expensive merino wool shirts are short to save a few cents and it's maddening. I've had 2 of these shirts for over 6 months and love them. They wash up nice and haven't pilled up or otherwise deteriorated or shrunk up to reveal my belly that nobody wants to see! I sized up one size and am very happy with the shirt. It's well made and is very comfortable. Order your normal size if you want a snug base layer fit or one size up if you want a tee shirt fit. I'm 6'2" and a bit over 200 lbs and the XL gives me a tee shirt fit (not loose and floppy). I wear them as an undershirt (they stay tucked in) or as a tee alone (they ride outside on my jeans nicely). I'm back to buy 2 more today.

Okay not Great.
I ordered the 2x and it fits like a large. It has a nice feel. I have shirts from other brands and this one is closer to my liking. I have received quite a few compliments while wearing these shirts and others have decided they would have to get a few for themselves. That being said, after one wash according to the instructions, the stitching in one of the arms is coming loose. Could simply be a bad shirt that slipped through quality control. But it's not a problem I have had with more expensive shirts.

Super thin, do not recommend
Washed by hand when I received it. Wore once to church, when I got home there were two holes in the shirt. Super thin, do not recommend. I contacted seller, they would send a new one if I paid postage. I'm disabled and on a fixed income, and now I have a holey shirt

I have t shirts from Icebreaker, Smartwool, Minus33, etc- this is just as good as any of them.
I've had my Sheeprun merino t shirt for roughly 2 years. It has not pilled at all. It's roughly 200 gram merino wool. It's supposed to be light. I am 5"10, 140 lb's, and an XL fits me like an America large. I plan on adding dozens of these to my collection over the years, as they are my favorite merino wool t-shirt that doesn't break the bank. I can only assume some other reviewers have moderate experience with merino wool products- for the money, these are amazing..

Runs small
Runs extremely small. The large should be labeled a small.
