7-Inch Blade Handmade Forged Stainless Steel Bone Cleaver Chopper Butcher Knife Heavy-duty Cleaver with Full Tang Wooden Handle

I bought this cleaver to use for chopping barbecue. I settled on it after reviewing maybe thirty or forty others. I love everything about it. I love the size and shape and the weight. It is heavy which is what I wanted. If weight would be a consideration for you, don't buy this one. I must admit that I was surprised by the quality of workmanship. It is superb. Totally pleased!

We bought one of these Kofery bone terminator blades in January because we needed something that would cut frozen turkey necks, pork loin, beef, liver, and chicken wings. Yes, this cleaver does the job. The first time we used the blade, we hit on it with a hammer, so the blade took some damage (see pics). A rubber mallet is a better choice... In April, we bought a second blade because we really liked the first one and wanted to primarily use the first cleaver for the frozen turkey necks. The second one is just as good as the first. The weight works well for us. Both of our blades arrived sharp. The finish of the item is not perfect as there are minor imperfections, but nothing hinders its performance. The blades definitely work for us as expected. If something changes, I will post an update.

Shorter than I would have desired, wood was chipped a little on the top. Heavy blade and good metal, sharp and ready for emediate use

good design

I picked this puppy up for my butchering needs and boy does it work well. It is not the sharpest blade in my kitchen arsenal but the weight allows me to quarter a whole chicken quickly and effectively. Rabbit and other small game don't stand a chance. I have not used it on harder bone cuts of meats yet but don't doubt it will do well. If you are getting this for your home kitchen then it is worth the price.

This cleaver is a 2 lb beast! I am a falconer a used it to cut up game for my hawk. The weight of the cleaver makes chopping effortless. It is also very sharp and a quality product.

To chop lamb bones

Used it once to cut up a chicken. Cut up my wooden cutting board. Lesson learned. Put it up, for months, used it today to cut pizza fond a hair line crack on both sides. I would like to return it and try it again. It mite just be a bad one?

Very sturdy

This is a very satisfying to use! It has great weight behind it. It arrived so polished I could see myself in it Had a few scratches but I felt it made it feel more unique the sloppy. The hilt could be just a little longer, but I have really big hands. :P A great tool for the price! Based on other reviews I may have gotten a really good one, but that's what you get with hand forged blades.

Very sharp and works really good. Able to cut meat easily including pork, chicken or beef bones. Just the right weight. Handle is not the best but at its price range you can’t really complain.

I’ve bought like 5 cleavers from different places..all top of the line my best or thought was?is a Henkles I paid 400$ for because I wanted a cleaver that would cut bone,veg,all purpose all around..I was scrolling through Amazon and found cost wise this cheap 37 dollar Cleaver and by far the best one out of the lot!!!its heavy ,high polished steel,and wooden handle!outstanding!!i mean that I would never write a small novel like this if I wasn’t 100% satisfied and I would have come to Amazon in the beginning?it would have literally saved me 100s of dollars ..thank you to the seller and Amazon..both every product I’ve got from Amazon has been on time..the best price by far..and most great quality thank you again Amazon Curtis Sault Ste Marie Ontario
