So I got this to put together those book book miniatures you see all over tik tok and Amazon. Well, it’s amazing! It’s on the heavier side so it’s not easy to knock over. The neck isn’t flexible from the top to the bottom, but the middle that is flexible moves easily. The texture is amazingly smooth. The magnifying glass is huge! I actually use it to repair console remotes for my business now. I do a repair every week and it’s so easy to put it on the platform adjust the glass, turn the light on and get to work. The only complaint I have is the brightness of the light. It has 2 different settings but with the high magnification it needs an even brighter light setting for the max. I do have to bring an extra light source in for the console remote repairs, but with the miniatures the light brightness is fine.

Magnification is no were close to 8X. I have the 20X foldable pocket size magnifying tool and a 3.5X magnifying lighted glass. So, naturally this did not work for me the lighting MUST circle the magnifying glass, this light sits at the back only, the cord is too short you would have to plug it in your mouth. *Worse the product is lying to the customers and this one may have plenty of company... Playing on customers who just don’t know. This was supposed to replace; my 3.5X magnifying glass I purchased on Amazon in 2014. ***With this new one I was straining my eyes just trying to see an increase in magnification over that one and couldn’t. This is no more than a 3.5X magnification. -Someone needs to check and not allow this to happen ad lib and they cheat us/customer. Where was this made??

Beware.. Previous reviews talk about the battery but this unit HAS NO BATTERY, it must be plugged into the wall. Nice for use as a non movable magnifier.

This type of light is very well made, even though I thought it was a project lamp for hobbies,etc. It's very well designed for its purpose. Good value and sturdy.

I gave it only a three star, because it ONLY COMES with a 36” cord. Have to use a extension cord for it to work 👎🏼. The plastic on the neck broke trying to adjusting the neck to get closer 👎🏼

Bought in May, just opened it to use. The light doesn’t work. How do I correct this problem? Can I send it back or get a replacement?

I have used this a few times so far and found it helpful. The lens is a good size.

It does not magnify as advertised sadly. Waste of money. The light very dim also. It's sturdy - but with very short cable.
