Lekue Microwave Corn Cooker/Corn Steamer. Easy & Fast Way To Cook Corn In The Microwave, 2 Corn, Yellow

This is the 3rd Lekue item I've purchased and once again, I'm not disappointed. I have the microwave bacon maker, the popcorn popper and now I have the microwave corn cooker. I used the corn cooker tonight and it worked really well. Pretty simple, it cooked 2 full ears of corn in less than 5 min.Directions: shuck the corn, insert the corn holders on each side, (it comes with 4 total) put the lid on,cook in microwave for about 5 minutes.I didn't have to add any water and because corn naturally has a lot of water it cooked both all the way through. The corn was STEAMING hot and stayed hot for a long time.Simple, easy, my kids loved having hot corn on the cob and I loved that I didn't have to boil a separate pot of water on the stove just for corn.

Liked the fact that it easily cooks two ears of corn in the microwave. The end holders are sometimes difficult to insert and get the corn to fit in the steamer correctly and I have found that after they are cooked, the holders are sometimes a bit wobbly to hold but with some care, it works out OK. I was tired of wrapping individual ears in Saran Wrap and then trying to peel it off of the hot corn which is why I purchased this. It does what it says, but I like it a bit less than I thought I would.

It works well enough, however I'm used to the corn cookers that use water and this one does not, plus it takesmore time than I'm used to.

I like gadgets, but I don't own a microwave, so I bought it for my brother because I thought it looked like it would work well. IT DOES! I thought he'd probably yell at me for buying it, but he didn't. He took it home and used it for dinner that night. He loves it. Almost makes me want to buy a microwave.

WOW! I love it! one of the best things I bought in my life! I love corn, but I ate frozen cut corn always... But not anymore! Corn cooker makes perfect corn on the cob so easy! Only 5 minutes and TADA! I can eat super yummy and juicy corn every time! Thank you! (^_^)

Easy to use and works much better than trying the method of pulling the hot, steaming husk and hair off the corn after it comes out of the microwave. This steamer keeps the corn hot for a good five minutes or until ready to butter and eat.

I love how mess free Microwaving the corn is. So much easier than cooking or grilling. The corn cooker cleans up really easy. The handles work nicely and are easy to hold.

Easy to use and clean. No boiling of water. In my LG microwave, 4 minutes for 2 ears of corn is perfect.

la marca di per se è una buona garanzia ma essendo un produttore orientato principalmente al "microonde" bisogna sapere alcune cose: bella forma e "giusta" per il micro-O ma da tener presente che le pannocchie vengono fuori praticamente lesse e senza la crosticina che contraddistingue le pannocchie sulla griglia. Durante la cottura non si può aggiungere i condimenti: questi condimenti vanno mesi prima o dopo. Occhio alle salsine: se le si mette prima possono seccare e poi le pannocchie non si girano a metà cottura; meglio dopo. Io uso una salsa BBQ e il risultato non è affatto male

Solid construction, not flimsy.Easy to clean.I found that the maximum time for two cobs of cornIn a 1100w microwave is about five and one-half minutes.Has a tendency to "boil" the moisture out of the corn.Suggest adding a tablespoon of water to each cavityprior to microwave oven.Overall works well!
