Heavy Duty Pro Punching Bag with Chains Empty, Red

Amazing value for money, especially considering it comes with most of the things to hang it up. The bag is pretty well made, I have only used it to practice kicks so far but it seems like it can take a beating! Would strongly recommend for someone interested in getting started with boxing/martial arts and for price conscious consumers.

I bought this bag for my son’s, 6 and 4yo to practice MMA. They’re hard on it and it’s still holding strong. We’re happy with it and will replace with the same one someday.

First off, we'll focus on the positive aspects.-Came on time.-Pretty easy to stuff (I used rock salt to weigh down the bottom, cut up rags throughout mixed with more rock salt to add some more weight). It gave me the excellent chance to get rid of old clothes and use up a bit of rock salt from last winter.-Small enough to fit in my basement and use in a proper fighting stance (I'm 6'2" and have a low ceiling in my basement).-The chains are pretty durable.-The canvas is pretty thick, so it can take a beating.-Overall, this product seems to be exactly as advertised.Now we'll focus on the negative aspects.-Zipper is pretty flimsy and came off while I was stuffing it, but the metal on it bends easily enough so that I could put it back together.-The vinyl on the top where the polyester is sewn to the bag is pretty flimsy and the vinyl started separating during my first workout (actually, I felt pretty good about myself when that started happening). I ended up wrapping the whole bag in duct tape to add stability and give it some added character.-There is no additional hardware aside from the chain and swivel, I bought a spring link and an "O" hook at Lowes for a few bucks and it works just fine (make sure to get at least a 250 lb. spring link if you're a hard hitter).This is the first day I've had this product, so I'll have to write a follow-up review in a week and then a month from now to update on how well it is holding up. I have a good feeling on this purchase overall, but I want to give a fair review. This is a good product for a cardiovascular workout and for anyone who is just starting out with heavy-bag workouts. I'm sure this would be great for kids if the right stuffing is used on it, as for me, it gives me a good outlet for my stress, a good cardiovascular workout and an opportunity to brush up on a few dis-used skills I acquired a while back.

I got this for my wife (and kind of myself) for Christmas. It does not come with filling instructions, or suggestions. The small hole at the top makes filling it difficult (we filled with a not-being-used feather mattress topper, with 50 pounds of snow salt in small bags, spread about, for weighting (altogether about 65 pounds). The weight caused the upper red logo wrap to start pulling away from the straps, the straps seem okay for now, but I seriously doubt claims that this holds safely significantly more weight than I have in it. And, Because of the difficulty in filling, the zipper broke, a cheap plastic zipper, they really should put a strong metal one on it; I mean for craps sake, is this not an item they plan on people beating the snot out of? Then the seams started to unravel after that. They used a weak stitching pattern, almost like what some potato bags get closed up with for easy opening. The canvas is quality material, but this bag with it's current quality control issues is garbage. The positive reviews here are coming from people who must be filling their bag with cotton and then looking at, because, if they were trying to have a bag with some real weight, that they could beat the crap out of like me, they would also not be happy.

This is pretty much what we expected from a $25 home punching bag. If you are accustomed to working out in a gym with a professional adult punching bag then this is not the one for you. If, however, you are looking for something for your kids to play with or for very light boxing workouts then it might be a good fit.Hanging equipment and filler need to be purchased separately, so consider that in cost comparison as well. The bag didn't give any direction on filling so we just sort of went with what was readily available, and in retrospect you should carefully consider that - it can't handle a high weight and there is no padding, it's just canvas, so be careful with the filling! You need something heavy that won't hurt you when you hit it and then a lot of lighter weight filler to stuff it out the proper shape. We don't use it outside and, due to the space, it's not even hanging all the time (put up when it is going to be used and taken down after). I think that's helped to extend the life of ours. It really doesn't work for kickboxing, at least not how we stuffed ours. And I don't feel great about the security of it as the chain quality isn't great. However, it met the main purpose (for a 10 year old to play with and let off steam) and it was cheap.

Great beginner bag for the price. Kinda small but for the money can’t be beat. Fill it with rubber mulch from your local home improvement store. Works perfectly.

What I love about this product is it very adorable and easy to use and move the chains are amazing all you have to do is put a hook in and the way you go at boxing he absolutely loves it thank you again
