RECESSED BADGE HOLDER With BELT CLIP + NECK CHAIN Concealed Weapons Badge NOT INCLUDED!

I was excited when I received this badge holder due to the price and look of the item . After 2 days the metal clip slid out of the leather causing me to almost lose my badge . I had to glue the clip and leather together to make it work. Then after 2 weeks the whole rear panel of the holder came apart. This holder is probably the worst product I've bought through Amazon in the last 7 years .

Pros - the Velcro backing holds the badge holder together properly. The neck chain is long enough to go around the neck comfortably. If you wear this badge around your neck the belt clip slides out easily (Could be a con, if you don't wear around your neck.)Cons- Poor/cheap quality. Not leather. The recess was adequate but I had to cut the backing so that the bridge of the badge could engage. The belt holding clip easily slides out. I am using this for this one eight hour shift, and then it will sit in my backpack as an emergency backup.

Unfortunately the belt clip that comes with this is poorly designed. When wearing it on the belt the badge holder can easily be pushed up and off the belt. I cut the old clip holder leather patch off my worn out badge holder and sewed it on this one. Works great now. Also, the leather thickness needs to be increased.

After only 2 weeks the lip has started to slide out of the holder.

I'm giving this item five stars because nothing was wrong with it besides the size I waited too late to return within 30 days so I'm stuck with a badge holder that's awesome but I can't use my fault not theirs

It is a low priced badge holder, good for some but for people who care about the durability and longevity, not so great. This holder also does have a weak clip so when placing it on a waistband or anything, push on the top of the clip as you put it on or it will eventually slide out. And also I doubt this would hold a badge any larger than 3-1/16 with the pin placed in the proper places as it has two holes instead of the slits that allow different positions to work just as well.

Misleading sale...

Complete garbage. Clop continued to come off so my badge would fall off while on duty. Flimsy backing. Only good for neck wear which I do not use. Had to buy a different one. Should have spent more and got a better one out of the gate.
