Good powerful pump
I have downgraded my review here from 5 to 2 stars as after one year of use it became clear the bearings have water ingress and although it is still pumping water, it is very noisily and I feel it will not last long (impossible to grease bearings)I use this with a 12v car battery fed by solar pannel. It pumps water from a canal 2 meters away. I filter the water with two cheap sieves tied together (there is also a fine filter on the pump itself. The water is then pumped through 20 metres of hosepipe to water vegetables. Your hose should be strong or else it sucks in on itself. Mine is actually 3/4 inch hose. The pump is powerful enough to use with a sprinkler.
