Great brand. Great product
Works great for fine particles from woodworking. I roll it near where I’m cutting just outside the garage. You will still get sawdust of course but the lighter airborne dust is what this will pull from the air so you’re not inhaling it. Much better than using a fan blowing away from where you are working g thinking g that is helping. Quality of this is great & was fairly si Ple to put together either no issues. Really like the base & caster wheels for maneuvering around or I can simply turn on where it sits to clear the air. It’s not quiet but not too loud. I wear ear protection when cutting anyway as you should so sound is not an issue.

A must for a woodshop - cleaner and safer!
I have used this Woodworking Dust Collector extensively for several months. It was easy to put together and continues to work great. This dust collector along with the WEN 3410 3-Speed Remote-Controlled Air Filtration System I purchased through Amazon greatly reduces the wood dust in my shop. I still wear a disposable respirator while cutting wood, but can take it off soon afterward because of how well the WEN dust collector and air-filtration system work.

Works very well, excellent value.
Overall, it's a terrific machine and a great value. It took 99% of the sawdust my table saw produced, with just a tiny bit on the saw table top. Nothing on the floor or anywhere near the saw. Very good with the wood cutting bandsaw but more like 85% capture. I will need to use a second hose for dust capture in a custom mount in the table area of the bandsaw, and then I should get close to 99%. Four suggestions for future improvements (which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5): 1) Make the 3 vertical supports for the housing that connects to the bags heavier duty. 2) Make the upper arm that holds the 5 micron bag adjustable height so if you need to roll the machine to another part of the shop and there is an overhead ductwork clearance problem, you can quickly and temporarily lower that bag support as much as 6 inches or so. I am modifying mine accordingly. 3) Put a pigtail style hook at the end of the upper post where the fabric loop of the 5 micron bag hooks on. It can easily slip off, so I taped mine to keep it secure. 4) Improve the instruction manual. It doesn't make much sense to make attaching the handle the last step AFTER installing top and bottom bags, if you need to then uninstall the ring holding the top bag to reach inside the steel ring for fastening hex nuts on the inside But overall it does a great job. Definitely a good investment and it will leave your shop air much cleaner and far, far less clean up work afterwards.

WEN Woodworking Dust Collector Review
The WEN DC1300 is a capable dust collector, especially at its price point. I've connected the unit to a 6 inch full sized jointer and a 12 inch surface planer with a 10 foot hose and it pulls in %99 of all of the chips and dust produced. I've also connected it to a 14 inch bandsaw with about a %95 capture of the produced sawdust, which was better than I had hoped for given the complex geometry of bandsaw interiors. The build instructions were decent enough as was the fit and finish. A finer mesh on the filter bag would have been nice, but all-in-all it's hard to beat this unit at this price point. If you don't have a big budget and need to have a dust collector I'd recommend this collector.

So far, this can't be bested (for the price).
I finally made the jump to a dust system. I do a LOT of woodwork as a hobby and was getting tired of taking all my tools outside in the cold and STILL getting dust over everything in my shop. This is much heavier than I was expecting (which is good). Took about 45 minutes (give or take) to put together. I could've been done MUCH sooner, but the directions are lacking and there is NO information when it comes to the screws (but it's not too difficult). Regardless, got it together and it seems super durable! It fits perfectly in the side of my shop. I still haven't actually used it. I still need to wire a dedicated plug (and switch) to it. It does have an ON/OFF switch, but since it's gonna be stationary, and the switch is on the back, I'm just putting one up near my bench to switch on/off when I need it. It includes a handle which makes it INCREDIBLY mobile, if you are in need on that. I'll update should anything change. I did turn it on and everything functioned perfectly, but I haven't actually hooked it to a machine yet.

Best in the market! Better than the expensive brands too
They did it again folks. WEN has not let me down when it comes to affordable quality tools. This puppy is super quiet but yet strong and efficient. MUST BUY WHILE YOU CAN

works well
I only run one machine at a time, but with hose gates it works very well Please note that it will gather saw dust as the tool runs, but will not vacuum up existing saw dust inside the tool I don't use it as a shop vac replacement to protect the impeller blades from things that end up on my floor (screws etc.) be careful on the large hose that runs from the blower to the collection bag. It is easily punctured small enough to fit in between tools so it does not take up lots of space on/off switch could be more reachable, but it is still easy to use nice to be able to run on 120 v, put it on a different circuit that the other 120 v tools so I've never had an issue

Best Dust Collector for the buck
I have used this dust collector for two months. Assembly: no problem, sort screws and you will know where they go. I did change the wheels but make sure to get locking wheels. This unit has a powerful fan with great suction. I produce 25 - 30 gallons of sawdust every two weeks so I feel confident in saying this will keep up with the more expensive models. The wiring just needs to be on a different circuit than the power tool you are using and you will have no problems. Best Dust Collector for the buck.
