too much squealing, but, seems to be the answer for now, until my husband needs a real hearing aid.

I bought this item for my mom and she loves it! It is made of good quality material and is very comfortable on her ear. She has hearing loss in her left ear and some loss in her right ear. This device helps a lot and she loves it! It is easy to use, not too heavy and the ear insert is perfect for her ear canal. There are 3 ear pieces to choose from that comes with the device. I'm not sure about the percentage of hearing loss that my mom has; but I do know it's significant and with the hearing amplifier she does NOT have to turn up the volume on it to the max. That's how good this device is!

This product is the worst piece of garbage I have ever received. It is so poorly made that you will want to return it within 5 minutes of trying to use it (as I did). First, the white ear piece that comes with it just falls off when you take it out of the case. Put it back on and try to put it in your ear and it falls off again. If you try to use one of the two white tips, you can't get them out of the case as they appeared to be glued in. I finally got the large one out and guess what, the hole meant to go over the gold tab was too small and after fumbling around for a few minutes, I gave up. Whoever makes this joke of a product should be ashamed of themselves for wasting everyone's time. I'd give it a 0 stars if I could. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

I finally found one sturdy enough to last that did not cost an arm and a leg. I am still adjsting to it but I hear every thing so much better than all the others I have tried. I had to spend some time intrial and error ....turn it on listen and adjust as needed up or down. The earbuds are so comfortable I don't notice them at all/

My husband has been hard of hearing for years! Hes had expensive hearing aids that were OK, but the background noise bothered him so much he didn't wear them allot of the time. When his last hearing aid croaked and because of the cost of a new one he tried to do without. Our grand daughter suggested we order one of your hearing amplifiers. We did and the results are unreal! My husband says he can hear BETTER with your product than with the hearing aids he has owned not to forget the most expensive set he owned that were stolen when a family member broke into our home. Yesterday my husband had a dr's appointment and was able to hear what the dr said without doc moving his chair closer and talking so loud everyone in the clinic could hear. Today we were in a crowded restaurant with lots of background noise, music, etc., and I asked if he could hear me and the answer was yes! I asked about the background noise (which was loud to me) and he said, I can hear it but it doesn't bother me like it did with my old hearing aids. So if anyone is shopping for a hearing aid that isn'tmore than a grand and one that WORKS really well this is the one. Right now we are watching TV he is able to hear it without the volume turned up BLASTING! So if anyone is shopping for a hearing aid that doesn't cost a bundle and one that really works You found it! Tim was missing out on so much! Thanks so much now he can HEAR! Why am I so excited? My husband is in remission from a horrible cancer and is so beaten up he hasn't been well enough to have his stem cells transplanted. He does not have a minute to miss out on hearing anything else!

It works just as good as the one I paid $2,000 for. Worth the money. I have 92%loss in each ear. I'm 81 and will not sit in silence because I can't afford those prices. If you have a relative, friend or it's for yourself, buy this. You won't go wrong.

Sound is good, but useless because of the design of the ear buds. One of the buds was cracked, the others won't stay on. Returned it.IF BUDS STAYED ON..... 5 STARS.
