Hard to build
If you can reach to the end it is beautiful, but assembling is very hard, screws are very small instructions are unclear, it is impossible for kids to make it by themselves

Amazing educational present
Was a present for my grandson and proved to be a hit. With the help of his father (g‘son is 8) they enjoyed the construction and the completed engine was amazing. It fully demonstrated how the pistons of a steam engine works. Would recommend.

Very fiddly
The driving rods are not robust at all, we fitted exactly as instructed and the driving rod broke. Very disappointed indeed
