This is perfect sized for me. I pinky use a few bread fingers for dipping and this is perfect for one egg and some fingers. It’s such a nice way to display your egg either for yourself or your guests. Great price for a set of four plus an egg cracker.

Overall these modern egg cups are nice.The are very cool look and have a good weight to them.There are only two things to consider before you decide if this is the right set for you or someone you are buying a gift for.First, these cups do not work well with really big eggs.I am not referring to exotic eggs, just jumbo size chicken eggs.Whenever I would put a jumbo egg in one of these, it would flop over.I could flip the egg completely upside down for stability, but then you have to top the egg backwards.Again, this was only a problem with really large eggs; however, if that's the size you typically buy, it might become an issue.Second, I did not care for the topper included with the set.If you consider the topper a bonus, that is no big deal.If you were hoping to use it to nip the tops off your eggs, you might be less thrilled.The problem I had with the topper was that, no matter how I used it, the top of my eggs ended up mangled.Specifically, I did not like that it created breakaway bits of shell I then had to avoid.Basically, the drop style topper was not for me.In the end I very much liked the presentation, style, and feel of these egg cups.Still, I do wish they handled jumbo eggs a bit better and I would not get this set for the topper, unless you know you like how that particular design works.
