Surprising quality at a great price!
Update(11/14/2017): So I finally tested it with my USB OTG cable and my HTC Desire 816 android phone. It works great and the sound is crisp and clear. There are no extra features(as was expected) when using it with my phone but the phone comes with HTC BoomSound which acts like an EQ so I can't say if the sound will be similar on other phones. The mic works great, ambient noise is hardly registered. The buttons on the cord remote work, Volume up, down, and mic mute; with the exception of the volume mute. The remote even lights up when you mute the mic. Honestly, I'm even more pleased with this purchase. In short if you have an OTG cable for your Android smart phone this USB headset may work with your phone(no guarantees as features vary greatly with android phones). Cheers! Not going to lie, for the price I paid, I was not expecting this kind of sound quality. I wanted the 7.1 surround and I figured it was worth the risk for the low price($27 for me). This headset only works through USB and I haven't tried to use it with my OTG cable on my phone yet, but I assume it only works with a PC. Also, while it works out of the box(at least with Windows 10) in a "basic" sense(buttons work, mic and speakers work, no EQ or proper surround) you'll want to install the software to enable the surround and equalizer features, as well as some other nifty things. I'm the kind of person who likes to eliminate software controls as much as possible using just the drivers alone as much as possible. I say that because before I installed the driver software the sound it produced was very underwhelming; so definitely install the software. I'm currently listening to some heavy bass music with the room effects set to underwater and the equalizer set similar to the RealTek or Windows EQ preset "Powerful." It sounds beautiful. It's not a studio quality headset but I've been wearing this thing for the past 5 hours with no sweat or discomfort and the loudness it produces with these 40mm drivers is great. As for the surround sound it uses speaker virtualization to produce the surround like effects and it works great with most games with only minimal adjustments here and there. For example, I was playing Arma 3 a Mil-Sim type game(One of the reasons I wanted the surround honestly was for this game). While being taxi'd in a MH-9 Pawnee sitting on the outer bench I could hear the sound of the chopper as we were flying as well as it's environmental echo's and the speakers vibrated with every "chop" of the helicopter rotor. I actually felt like I was flying for a moment. In Arma 3 explosions and bullet hits and shot reports are designed to imitate real life sound. Someone shoots at you from a distance or you see an explosion off in the distance you don't hear it until it 'travels' the distance. With this headset everything sounded more real and it also helped immensely with determining where incoming fire was coming from.I don't usually take the time to write a review, but with these, after the great price I paid, I felt I had to. If you're a PC gamer I'd recommend these over Turtle Beaches hands down. I'll be looking at SADES from now on when I go to buy another headset. Even my team mates said my in game chat sounded clear and wasn't picking up any ambient noise, something I can't say about any of the headsets I've owned before even with background noise dampening enabled. If you're looking for a great headset at a great price, look no further.I'll mention I just purchased these headphones and this is my first day using them (11/5/2017). Should any quality concerns emerge within the next 6 months I'll update my review, but I have to say they don't feel cheap. My only qualm about them is the blue lights, I like them somewhat, but I wish there was an option to turn them off, which I haven't found yet if there is one.

They don't make 'em like they used to.
Only bought this because my last pair finally died after almost three years of constant use, it was the Sades Hammer if i remember right. Now the old headset didn't break completely, just the microphone stopped working. It was a good product so I figured I would stick with the company on my next buy. I'll have to admit I'm rather disappointed, I feel like my old pair was of much higher quality. This pair not only feels like it is made of a cheaper, more brittle plastic, but it also seems to fall off in the software department as well. You can no longer turn the lights from the headphones off, playing darker games this really stands out as there are large blue spots reflecting back in the screen at me. On the old set the microphone was flexible while the neck of this mic is a hard plastic that makes creaking noises if its pushed on in any way shape or form causing interference with those you are talking with in the guise of static. The headset itself seems smaller than my last pair, either that or it just hasn't stretched enough yet. Either way right now it makes my head hurt to wear for too long, they are currently being stretched over the box they came in. I will say the cord and button setup on it is an improvement, the only reason why this product isn't getting a two star. Though my hands are definitely more used to my old set that's to be expected, this set has a smaller button setup on the cord which is helpful for the main reason my old set broke is I kept catching it's button interface on things as i stood up causing tension on the cord itself. Speaking of, I do enjoy that the cord of this headset is in that nice woven format, I feel like those are just stronger and last much longer. If I can find a different driver that allows me to turn the lighting off and the headset itself stretches nicely then I will be changing my rating from three to four stars, the brittle plastic feel will always be a negative for me especially when regarding the microphone housing. Hope this helps future buyers better understand the product.Edit: After a few weeks of use the headset has seemed to stretch enough that it is not longer uncomfortable. The lights however cannot be turned off, so i used tape (electrical works the best in my opinion). I have raised my rating to four stars because the product is no longer uncomfortable to wear, also i probably could have just bought one without lights so i guess that's my own fault.
