Great value for money
I ordered this kit when in need of a new battery. It happened that the battery was ok and I had a bad nikon charger. Well, in this kit I got two new batteries and a superb charger!I am so happy I went for the kit. We have just come back from intensive shooting and the dual battery grip resisted the 1000 pictures we made. The grip does fit perfectly well on the camera (D5100 here), and feels sturdy and comfortable. The remote works very well too. Just need to change the settings to auto instead of single shot.I have not tried the car plug yet, but all the rest is beyond what I expected since I had seen similar kits for about double this price.Highly recommended purchase to extend shooting options.

Five Star Battery Grip.
I was a bit concerned when ordering a battery grip. I went through so many reviews and settled on this one. What I like about it is...you can have one battery in the grip compartment (they are 2 slots for both batteries) and it works flawlessly.I would just let people know to remove the camera's battery lid carefully. The intruction manual says to remove it at a 35 degree angle. I did so with no issues. You can reattach the lid if you ever decide to sell your camera.Last but not least. ..the attached battery grip gives the camera a more professional look that's sure to let others know, you mean business.

and they all worked fine, but I had to replace the order because ...
It seems the Seller is shipping different brands of this bundle. The first bundle I received was on a white and yellow box, X-Photo brand. It had all the items, and they all worked fine, but I had to replace the order because there was a bump on the leathery rubber thing in the front of the grip. However, the replacement I've received had a Vivitar brand grip and remote control, much better packaging for all items and 4 batteries instead of two. I've compared the bundles and it looks like the grip and remote are virtually the same product, with different branding, what is not unusual on Chinese goods. The fact the replacement had much better packaging and four batteries were a nice surprise though.I uploaded a couple of picture comparing the bundles on this review. The items on the right are the original X-Photo I've received. The one on the left are the Vivitar replacement with the four batteries. The items on both bundles seem to be working fine, and frankly seem to be the same (kind of cheap) quality for both bundles, with the only difference being a much nicer presentation and four batteries instead of two on the Vivitar bundle. I haven't had a chance to test battery performance, but the grip, remote and charger all work as intended.

Works as only one battery sometimes, camera has intermittent issue reading batteries
Had the unit for 10 months now but only now pushed the batteries to their limit. My charger has a digital read out indicating charge values. Seems as if the unit was only draws power from one battery as it was at 20% and the second battery was still at 100%. Obviously this gave me no more shooting time than the one battery in the camera. With more experimenting and testing I have found that the left bank won't hold the battery in far enough to make contact, therefore using none of it. That probably explains the situation above.UPDATE: This was corrected by several layers of electrical tape on the lid so to push the battery slightly further in and the problem was corrected. With more investigation I have found that sometimes my Nikon will not recognize the non-oem batteries, yet other times it does. Funny thing is that the same battery can be put in one side of the grip it's recognized but the other it is not. In the camera it was recognized after multiple times. Then I put the camera battery back in the grip and it was recognized. Intermittent issue. I don't know if its the grip, the battery or the camera but something is amiss here.UPDATE: The several layers of electrical tape, as mentioned above, also seemed to correct this issue.I will give kudos to Fanta Sales for having a conversation with me regarding this matter. After all, I did buy the thing almost a year ago, so they are not really obligated. I am impressed with the handling of this matter. For this, they get a 6 out of 5 stars!

Grip Enhances Picture Taking
This grip fits the Nikon D5300 perfectly. The instructions, for the removal of the battery cover, are perfect. This grip allows much better "control" and stability of the camera given that I have fairly large hands. I have used this indoors as well as outside (winter at 20 degrees F) with no issues. The battery charger swiftly charges the included batteries. The car-charger will be a great benefit in the coming months with a planned road trip. I have not used the wireless remote yet but I am looking forward to some night photography opportunities, while on the future road trip. Excellent product at a great price.Access to the battery compartment is simpler than previous models I have owned.

Fantastic grip, comes with extra batteries so that's a huge plus!
Awesome grip! Like other reviewers have said, it feels cheap coming out of the box but once it's attached it fits right on the camera. I love having that extra security, especially with a flash, big lens, and anything else that doubles the weight of the camera, having that extra grip on it helps a lot! I've read that the trigger is awful, and I wasn't interested in that at all. Oh! I LOVE that it comes with FOUR batteries!! So awesome! I thought it would only come with two so I thought I'd have to order more separately, but I was very pleasantly surprised!

Very Nice and Inexpensive Accessory.
I can't find any issues with this product. Mounted it and started using it straight on with no issues. You do have to remove the battery door on the camera (in my case the D5100) which is painless but remember to NOT LOOSE the door. Put it in you kit in case you go back to single battery use. This accessory does add some significant bulk to the camera but it also gives you more grip. All in all it worked great for me.
