Great hiking boot from Teva. Space for toes to move and breathe with good slip resisting outer soles. I have pairs in both black and brown leather. Too bad it’s discontinued. Scour the internet and you may turn up a pair in your size if you’re not picky about the color.

My husband wears these everyday for a more comfortable work boot. These last longer then actual "work boots"My husband works in highly dirty areas and they hold the shape and the only place that showed wear after 2 years of 5 days a week, was the toe.

Wonderful and comfortable boot, and was not expecting to write a negative review. As soon as you add water to rocks, this boot is dangerous and the Vibram sole is useless. You can hurt yourself very easily expecting that these shoes would be sure-footed on wet rocks. A pair of sneakers or sandals would be better.

My favorite boots. Super wide toe box. Excellent sole grip. I was devastated when Teva stopped making the Rivas several years ago. I tried so many different hiking boots and shoes since then. Nothing fit me as well as the Riva. Amazon returns probably hates me, LOL. I did have to go up a size versus the original Riva Events I had. Teva's size 12 are just a little too snug for me now. I went with a size 13 with Green Super Feet insoles. I'm very happy.

It is hard to find hiking boots that are stylish, while also being functional. Only boot on the market that fit the bill for me. I really hope Teva keeps coming up with stylish and well built boots for years to come (hopefully more of a selection in the future).

Typical TEVA quality and style and comfort. Ideal for light hiking, snow, rain, and so on.

One of the eyelets broke as soon as I walked in them. I managed to stitch it back together and wear them for a few months, but he lack of durability continued to show. These shoes do not hold up to basic wear & tear. Trashed after 3 months. These are WAY overpriced for what they are. Teva let me down. They used to make good, affordable shoes. Now they charge top tier prices for sweatshop garbage. Just like every other manufacturer.

Unless your hikes are around a city park or exploring downtown via sidewalks this shoe is useless. Flimsy, poor construction and lack of support make it useless on actual trails. Sorry I ever bought this shoe but the one pair I prized was Ahnu which was bought by the company that also owns Teva brand. This a look alike copy but no where near the real thing.

first pair purchased in retail store in Lewes at £120 probably 9 years ago. 4th pair now via internet with lengthy search for size 10 at £160. They suit me as I'm no mountaineer but wearable all day anywhere including the golf course.

Bought a second pair of Teva walking mid boot because of great sale price. Extremely comfortable, durable bushwalking shoe. Trek all day in rough terrain without any problem. Still wearing my first pair that has lasted almost 5 years.

It says waterproof on the inside, but on my very first hike I stepped into a puddle and there was a spot inside the shoe that started getting wet. As other parts were not wet, it could only have seeped in through the sole.

Perfect material, design. Already had similar boots from same brand, so I knew the number 41,5 will fit me - and it did. Recommend!
