Got to stop my new kitten from getting into my basement. Well, he just jumps over the top of the gate!

Used as a dog gate to stop the loonies charging at the front door, my husband fitted he is a good DIY person and thought it was pretty straightforwardWe went for a larger opening to go across a non standard doorway

Good range of width, lower plastic insert in hinge side does tend to come away not quite a tight enough fit on the one I had bit of a pain have mine on the fullest most recommended extension.

The gate was easy to assemble and fit. It came with a handy measuring guide to help place the attachments on the wall. I taped it to the frame and used a flat head screw driver to mark where the screws would attach to the wall.Lining it up was really the only thing that took any effort in the setup.There's no give if the gate gets pushed when closed and it locks very nicely into the mechanism.Due to it being screwed into place there's no slipping or worry of it being pushed over as there is with standard baby gates.Very worth the price and the time needed for setup and I will definitely opt for these over standard baby gates in future.
