I would have wanted all cotton, but you can’t have everything, and this robe has everything else I could have wanted. It’s my favorite shade of my favorite color, the fit is perfect, and after three washings (cold water/quick wash) and dryings, there is no more lint. This robe is warm and cozy, the zipper is very easy to use, and there are absolutely no rough seams to chafe your skin. I am 5’61/2”, 140 pounds, and the medium fits me just right, including the sleeve length. It’s very light and warm. I’m so in love with it that I hate to take it off even though It’s still a little too warm here for a winter bathrobe. I do hate polyester, but I honestly can’t feel the polyester in this fabric. As of now, this is my favorite garment even though it’s just a bathrobe.I’ve also bought the same robe by this maker in cherry red. It is 100% cotton, unlike the blue, and it’s heavier than the blue, but exquisitely comfortable and even warmer. The red cotton chenille, however, took four or five washings to get the lint under control.Getting back to the blue chenille robe, it’s a miraculous blend of light, fluffy, and warm. It’s prettier than the picture on Amazon and so well-made but I think I’ll be wearing it for a long time.

This robe is comfortable and warm. However I wouldn't advise anyone to order it because the inside of the robe sheds everywhere. If you wear anything under it, that item will become a magnet for an incredible amount of shedded fluff. When you try to wash the fluff off the clothing, all it does is spread it around even to the point of contaminating other items with the shedded fibres. I have never experienced anything like it before, even with other chenille robes. All in all, this robe was a great disappointment and a menace to any other clothing item it comes into contact with.REVISED REVIEW:The robe I initially received turned out to be a manufacturing error. I have changed my rating to five stars because the seller contacted me to explain the situation, offering to replace it with the same or similar robe from his stock or, alternatively, to refund me the entire purchase price. When a seller stands behind his products in such an extraordinary manner, the entire transaction more than fulfilled my expectations for a quality transaction, which is why I have revised my initial rating.

I have to say I really appreciate the length of this robe (I'm 5'9") and it comes down almost to my ankles. But I must say that I also have a love/hate relationship as well with this robe. I first purchased the blue robe & yes it did shed somewhat at first. Unfortunately something was spilled down the front & stained it so I purchased the green color to replace it. It isn't Olive Green as pictured but lime green. Also the robe isn't shiny nor as luxurious looking in real life when compared to the picture. I'm now looking to replace the green one I recently purchased because after a few short weeks it seems to NEVER STOP SHEDDING! It leaves green lint everywhere! My bed, floors, dogs fur, you name it & it's there! Wearing this robe for a couple hours each night does not explain or excuse the excessive shedding!!!! After reading the other reviews it seems to be only the green color that sheds so badly. I'd say that between the quality & durability of this robe it's overpriced by $20 at least. For this price I'd expect it to be much more luxurious, shed A LOT LESS, and a quality fabric & dye system. All in all not worth more than $50 & 3 stars.

This robe is beautiful in the light blue color I bought. I ordered it two sizes larger than my regular size thinking it would shrink in the wash but it didn’t. It fits as if I had ordered my normal size. The downside is the inordinate amount of fluff that ended up in my dryer after I washed it alone twice and put it through the rinse cycle four times. Thank goodness I listened to other reviewers! I recommend this robe for it’s attractiveness and soft, comfy feel. Just wash, wash, wash it before wearing it.

After reading a lot of reviews I really thought twice about buying this robe especially because I couldn't try it on and $100. is more than I usually pay for a robe. I wear a size LG but in sleep ware I like a little wiggle room. Size 1X was not available at the time so I took a gamble and chose a 2X. It is 70% cotton and I thought that I might be able to shrink it a little if it was too big. Well I rec'd the robe a couple of weeks ago and it was a little big but not overly so. I washed it in cold water, med heat and wore it. Pure luxury. It is a beautiful bathrobe! Very well made, material is a nice weight, soft, warm and cozy! There is a bit of lint but not enough to be a problem. After a week I decided to see if I could try and shrink it a bit. I washed it in very hot water and dried it on high heat. (totally against the directions) It shrank to the size I had hoped for.

Finally the perfect robe, at least for someone who values cotton, cozy warmth, and can handle the usual chenille fuzzies. It’s beautifully made, which as an amateur seamstress I appreciate. Great quality material, nice decorative details, roomy side pockets, plus a quality YKK zipper that DOES unzip completely. The cuffs roll easily for dishwashing, etc. The Sky Blue color is lovely, verging on soft periwinkle. I’m just under 5’6”, 155 lbs and busty (36DD) and the Large fits perfectly. It comes nearly to my ankles with some room to spare but, per the spouse, makes me look thinner than the other robes I’ve tried.And I’ve tried a bunch, including 3 by this maker. Their Olive Green in the same design is just as nice but actually a bright vintage green, like the picture. Their Ocean Blue wraparound with set-in belt is simply beautiful - a bit shorter and a nice fit too, but the overlap in front looked bulkier on this apple figure. The cuffs are also thicker and hard to roll. The Sky Blue zip robe with moon & stars appliqués is cute & nicely detailed but a few inches shorter, a tad bigger, and maybe better styled for my young niece. Its color confusingly has the same Sky Blue name but is quite different, more aqua than periwinkle. Thank goodness for Amazon returns, which let me find the robe that’s just right!

After reading many reviews I decided to purchase a more expensive one as reviews were complaining of how much fluff is shed. I am disappointed as it DOES shed fluff and I have washed it on a cold wash 3 times hoping the fluff will go. Sadly it hasn't and therefore can only give it a 3 star rating. If I hadn't already washed it I would have sent it back. I do hope I can wear it to lounge in and not think it has been a complete waste of money. There, I have been totally honest.

Beautiful green colour. Size 20 ordered 2x bit big.Will give off colour and fluff during washing a few times. Then will be fineBought red one before but it's so comfortable and cosy warm

I have bought 4 robes from 'Bath & Robes' and they are lovely! The fit is great, they are really warm and comfortable. I love the soft feel and they have washed and worn really well - that's why I have come back and bought more, I know that I can rely on the quality and fit (their size guide has been helpful and accuratefor me)

Love it., was unsure whether to buy as others reviews said that it sheds fluff. None at all with mine, don't know whether I was lucky but ordering a second one, well made and lovely colour.

Excellent, just the weight I wanted and the length. Will certainly buy another colour.
