Great kit, but you will probably want the rubber pad
The kit came with all the parts and was easy to install with a drill and basic tool kit. Clearance, strength, and springiness of the design are perfect. I have tried the brake in a variety of conditions, and think the pad is way too low of friction for most uses, and definitely not suitable for emergency stops. On the plus side, there are rubber pads available for this kit, and you could always cut an old shoe or tire into a new pad.

Awesome Add-on to my board
Awesome Add-on to my board. For Extreme braking, I suggest getting the rubber brake pad, the other one is plastic and is more for commuting. Does require 1 hole to be drilled but it was super easy to install. Super simple design, I think that a spring should be added thus 4 stars. Highly recommend!!1

The customer service team is incredible disputed my board being the wrong size for the slide brake they have been working with me for weeks to help me get a slide break properly installed on my board. I highly recommend this item and totally support the slide brake team with this invention l.
