It is durable and will protect your iPad. For me, it's just a little too blocky.

Storage for the Apple Pencil was a primary consideration in giving this case a try. After Amazon's typically speedy shipping, I popped it on. It fits the 9.7 iPad Pro perfectly, and though if I think about it is seems a tad heavy, it also is clearly well protected along the edges as well as front and back. The cutouts are perfectly aligned and very nicely cut.The cover material is very nice to the touch, providing a nice grip, it is also easy to clean with a damp cloth. It does not show fingerprints at all. The faux-denim look is very well executed.The inside material of the cover is a typical microfiber.The black edging on the case is a rubberized material which offers good protection.One of the biggest selling points (for me) was the Apple Pencil holder. It is molded into the cover edge material, in black rubber, the Pencil is simply pushed into the holder with slight pressure. Two cutouts on the back of the holder allow you to easily push the Pencil out of the holder for use. The Pencil is held very nicely in place, and as with the cutouts are cut with precision. Unless this stretches out over time it will serve as a very good solution to the Pencil storage problem. I was concerned about the placement of the Pencil holder, especially when using the iPad in typing position, but it caused no problem at all. iVapo has, in my opinion, come up with the best storage solution to date.The auto sleep/wake function works flawlessly, and although because of the edge molding the cover does not lap over and yet the design still allows for the cover to be easily opened.I am very pleased with this case and happy, at this point (I have had the case for about one week) to recommend it highly.The only criticism I can find thus far is that the button covers, which are integrated into the edge molding are quite stiff. Especially the power button. But how often do we actually use that button?

This is the best case for the iPad Pro 9.7" that I have found and I have tried several! I am a teacher and use my iPad in a team taught setting so I need something that will hold the pencil securely, isn't too bulky, and lets me prop up the iPad at an angle. This case does all of that. In fact, it's the first case I've found that will hold a modified pencil. I have this cap holder on my pencil https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FU9TG50/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and it fits in the holder nice and snug. The pencil holder is rubbery so has some "give" and accomodates the slightly larger end with the cap holder. That is impossible to find in other iPad Pro cases where you only choices are to have plastic clips that stick out from the case or an elastic loop which makes the pencil dangle. IVAPO has done a great job designing that holder and because it is rubbery you can also hold the case easily when the pencil isn't in there because it will compress somewhat flat along the side. I like the rubbery feel as it gives me a grip when I hold the case when writing on the iPad while I stand and move about the room.Other features: the wake/sleep feature of the cover works great. All ports and buttons are easy to access. The camera opening is well fitted. I also like the material on the cover. It's like fabric but very durable. It looks professional and gives the case some tactile feel which makes it non-slippery. Also, it folds into a triangle to prop up the iPad and the magnets work well--it is not flimsy.By far this has been the best case I've tried and will continue to use it in the future...

My case fully fell apart.

Pencil holds tight. Magnetic on/off works well. Feels sturdy like it would protect against a drop. I am impressed and happy with my purchase. I'm yet to put it to the longer term test of months of use so I can't speak to durability yet.Updated Review - Jan 16, 2017Case is holding up nicely. I use it daily and take it with me everywhere. Pencil holder continues to remain tight after consistent use up taking it in and out. Pencil has never popped out on accident. Magnetic close continues to work every time and the flap closes perfectly.

This case fits my Ipad Pro 9.7 very well. It is easy to get the cover as well. The pen fits snugly in the attached flexible holder. I also like that it allows me to use my apple keyboard with the ipad without having to remove the case. It also has a very quality feel to it as well. The rubber bumpers around it also offer good protection for the ipad, without adding a lot of bulk. I liked the first one so much that I bought a second one! Would recommend to anyone!

This is an awesome case. I love it! It fits perfectly, hold the iPad Pro securely, gives superior protection. Sleep/wake Smart Cover works perfectly and this was under $30. I love the texture, far better than the slippery silicone which I hate. This looks and feels fabulous. I bought the blue and it's perfect.

Great looking case for the money, feels good to old, is cut to cover the ipad perfectly and the pencil holder is tight enough to hold the pencil well. Overall for the money I don't think you could find a simpler elegant case to hold the iPad and the pencil for cheaper.

Very good quality IPad Pro 10.5 inch cover and case. Looks very formal and has a nice place to stick on the Apple Pencil, that’s the key. I received it on time in a well packaged box. I would definitely recommend this if you have an Apple Pencil as well because it’s hidden inside and looks like one piece from outside.
