I add this to every meal for my two male, neutered dogs. It’s healthy for them, adds bulk to their stools (thereby helping express their anal glands when they poop, so no more butt-dragging), and is a quick cure for occasional diarrhea, even for our cat. It’s easy to measure and there’s no waste due to its long shelf life. And the dogs love the taste!

This product works great for our Malinois who has always had softer stool but more so the small bit of added fiber has made a huge improvement her frequent anal gland expression! She is pickiest eater and consumes it readily on her normal food. Great value compared to other brands! We are able to use less than the label indicated amount and still see improvement.

I bought this powder to give my 4 small dogs. They will not eat the high quality dog food, so I have to try the next level of quality. I supplement with Firm Up to keep their digestion on track. Yes, it's a little pricey, but it works!

This is my 2nd time purchasing this. I rarely ever leave product reviews (although I highly depend on them myself), but I wanted to make sure and leave one for this. My dog has always had runny/loose poop. It drives me crazy and is so hard when getting it up in our backyard. I decided to give this a try and she now has solid/firm poop. It worked really quickly as well. Definitely worth the money.

Bought this for my 6 month old kitten that occasionally has soft stools (typical for her breed). She's about 8 lbs, so I tried giving about 1 teaspoon daily split between 3 meals. I think something in this (possibly the apple pectin?) didn't agree with her, because it honestly made her stools worse, and made her go significantly more often. It was a rough few days of runny poo. Since then I've switched over to a pure pumpkin puree, and she's doing much better.Giving 4 stars because the product clearly does work for a lot of people, and it is quite convenient. However, mileage may vary for any individual pet, so be prepared to try other options.

I have a senior dog with a bunch of health issues. Since having the heart issues, we've done everything we can to extend however much time we have left with him. Our vet recommended adding this to his diet to prevent him from straining when having a bowel movement. Because of the heart issues, we add more than the recommended daily amount to each meal with a little water, and it has worked great for giving our dog the healthiest poops he has had in his life.If you have a picky eater, they may not care for the smell/taste. We mix it in with his food during meals and put a topper that he likes to mask the smell (he tends to get picky when his kidney values are high, but otherwise eats it with no problems).Always serve it mixed with some water and make sure to encourage your dog to drink plenty of water. Water helps to prevent dehydration when they're having diarrhea and helps soften their stool when constipated, so whatever the reason you choose to use this for your pet, it's important that they get plenty of water.

Love this product. This helped our shelter kitten when 5 other prescriptions failed to firm up his stool. Highly recommend.

Every now and again my dogs have soft serve. This product does the trick and my dogs eat it right up.
