Great set! Great price! The case roll smoothly and have ample space! The color is sleek and the surface is smooth and sturdy. I would purchase again.

I have taken several trips with this luggage. I like the sizes, especially that the larger one is not huge. They have held up well to airline baggage handling abuse. After one trip, there was a dent in the larger case. My husband was able to pop it back out. That was great; saving us the time and bother to make a damage claim with the airline.

The Samsonite Centric 2 Hardside Expandable Luggage with Spinner Wheels (Black) 2 Piece Set has been on 3 trips now with me, and the only wear that's visible are a few scuffs on the exterior of the hardside suitcases. This 2 piece set comes with a 24 inch suitcase and a 20 inch suitcase. The 24 inch suitcase has been through airport baggage checks/transport, which is where the scuffs came from. Although there are some surface scuffs to the suitcases, my belongings on the inside have been undamaged thus far. Pros: * 20 inch suitcase fits in the 24 inch suitcase for easy storage when not in use. * 20 inch suitcase fit 4 days worth of clothing and shoes. Could fit more when expanded. * 24 inch suitcase fit 7 days worth of clothing and shoes. Could fit more when expanded. * 24 inch has TSA lock * 20 inch has USB-A port on exterior for easy device charging via battery pack (not included). * Both suitcases are durable, and have withstood airport baggage check/transport. * The storage sleeve for the battery pack can accommodate battery packs as large as 6 inches long by 4 inches wide, but it would be a very tight fit depending upon the thickness of the battery pack. Cons: * The retractable handles can be forced out of their locking positions back into a closed position with some force. This isn't a deal breaker for me, but caught me off guard the few times it did it in the airport. I recommend not pushing these suitcases and only pull them to help prevent this issue. Overall, this 2 piece luggage set from Samsonite has been great for me! I was surprised that my size 12 shoes fit horizontally in the 20 inch suitcase. The USB-A charging port is very handy in the airport when you can't get to an electrical outlet. Please note: The rechargeable battery pack in the pictures does not come with this set! Make sure your battery pack has a USB-A output port to connect to the USB-A cord in the suitcase. I highly recommend this set to all types of travelers.

It is a bit of a disadvantage that the small luggage compartment is not lockable.

I love these suitcases! I am a habitual over packer so, i decided to change my ways and pack lighter. This duo has helped me get a grip on my annoying habit. Beautiful color too! Almost too beautiful because when I noticed my first big scratch from careless baggage handlers I wanted to cry!

This is our second order of the same brand and model of carry on and medium size luggage and we’re extremely happy because they withstand the abuse and rough handling by the baggage handlers every time we travel or cruise. It shows on the dents and scratches all over the luggages. We have a high priced brand also but it didn’t last as I expected it due to rough handling. Our regularly priced order estimated delivery time was uncertain because of unavailability but the same brand and model were available in the used option so we tried it and in a discounted price. We were not disappointed, received them boxed like new and packaged adequately and properly! Items were like brand new, inspected both luggages inside and out and only a minuscule scuff. Won’t affect anything.

For the price and name of this luggage I would have hoped the wheels would have withstood their first plane ride. Dent in the top of the suitcase as well. One of the zipper pulls has also broken off. :( I have used my $50 hard cover no name suitcase for over 10 years with zero damages and I was hoping a Samsonite would have outlasted the cheap one I used to use.

I’m so happy with my choice! I just came back from Hawaii, they held up great, not a scratch. I was on a direct flight there and had a stop over on the way back. I received a compliment on the color from the airline staff when I was checking in, she commented on how it really stood out in a sea of dark colors, and I couldn’t agree more. I was able to maneuver both the medium and carry on one-handed due to the fantastic wheeling capacity on them. My only wish is that the carry-on had the TSA lock because my last flight after the stop over was a very small plane, and all roller bags had to be checked on the tarmac, and I hadn’t put a lock on it since I didn’t think it would be out of my sight at any time.
