Its OK
It is hard to control the heat, It may get better with use, it is nice that it is using the Dewalt battery. It is good for what I use it for. Grab it and go

Portable and Works as expected!!
If you are on the fence about this product, get it. This is a life saver for jobs where you don't feel like lugging an extension cable to. The iron gets hot very quickly and is comparable to other top of the line units. I have yet to leave it on to see how long the battery can last but after each use I subconsciously turn the unit off to save power. Overall, this is an amazing product and I'm glad I got it.

Heats up faster than my corded solder iron
Works with my 21v dewalt batteries. It’s my go to iron now. I have a butane and corded, but this heats up quicker than both and super versatile.Can work under dash or hood. Yes, work bench too.

The unit is small, fast to heat, lasts longer on the Battery than I expected, only thing I would add would be a source of replacement soldering tips.
